My son hosts a Hump Night for the guys each week and they sit around a fire pit and drink some cold beers! I thought this would be a fun stocking stuffer but had no idea how they'd work. Well, the guys loved them! They didn't last all night but long enough to entertain them for a few hours. Will order again next year!

This is an inexpensive and fun way to make your next campfire or fireplace burning a special occasion. For a couple bucks you can enjoy a 1/2 hour or more of interesting colors to be mesmerized by. Not sure how they create the various colors but they are fun to watch and create a special treat for onlookers.

These were way cooler than I thought they'd be! I got them for the kids during a camping trip and us adults ended up enjoying the show even more than the kids! The colors are vibrant and stunning - and I'm colorblind. They lasted so much longer than I thought they would too, they just kept on going!The instructions clearly say to throw the whole pouch right in the fire, do not open the pouch. The pouch feels, and looks like, it's made from plastic. Even when it burns it bubbles up like plastic. There was no black smoke though, so I'm not sure if it's plastic or not. I hope not, and that's what I'm choosing to believe.Overall, these things are so cool, the colors are amazing and add a special flare (see what I did there?) to any fire.

The colors were bright and vibrant, even in the afternoon twilight of winter, but the overwhelming smell of the fumes was too much, even for an outside fire day. Mich stronger than other fire color packets we've used.

Nice to enjoy a fancier fire in the fireplace for 30 mins.UPDATE: this was awesome on outdoor firepit; the colors entertained the kids!

The good: beautiful striking hues, easy to use as you just drop the packet or packets in without opening, and lasted far longer than I expected - at least 2 hours of color!The not so good: wished there were more colors, I used 2 packets and our fire was mostly the blue green color shown. I thought I may have seen a hint of pink toward the bottom of the fire but it was barely detectable. Having variety of color would have made this even more amazing. Also the packet you dropped in seemed to be plastic which is not great if so. Would have preferred they use cardboard.Still, really fun for a campfire and fascinating to look at for everyone!!!
