Well made, but specific fit characteristics of associated Antec case.
This was specifically designed for the associated Antec case. The brace for the card slots is designed for attachment to the brace area when there are no crossbars. To clarify, the Antec case has a card brace area that is completely ..guttable? shall I say?For example: if you took a normal case, removed all the card brace slot covers (the little flat metal pieces that cover the holes on the back), there are still horizontal supports that are part of the larger frame. On a common case, the entire bracket assembly, horizontal supports and all, might possibly be removed, but there would be an unframed hole. With this modification however, it is designed with the expectation that when the card bracket/brace covers are removed, there is nothing but a framed hole. I say framed, because this unit expects there to still be an area around the now open bracket-hole-area to be framed by some metal it can attach to.That is probably confusing, but I returned the unit so I can no longer photograph the item.Bottom line - if you are a techie maker like myself, you'll find this isn't worth your time to try and mod so it can fit any case. I'm sure for the specific Antec case it is designed for - which it does indeed say in the item information - it would work great, and that is the reason for my 4 star review. I don't see any reason to downvote it just because it didn't work in the way it wasn't intended to work in the first place.

Works Good. Tricky Install.
Overall happy with this Riser. Fits my MSI 4070 TI Suprim inside a Fractal Meshify 2 Compact Case (with slim fans). It is flush with the expansion slots at the back of the case so it does not add to the GPU Length (which can be tight in smaller cases like mine). Temps are same or slightly better. 3D Mark TimeSpy score slightly better with the riser (nI.e. not being bottlenecked). It is tricky to install as the riser cable is long and it gets smooshed behind the GPU. It requires some force and dexterity, as well as some stress to install the GPU+Bracket into the expansions slots as the slot pegs can scrach the motherboard and be sure to check for clearance (My USB Header sticks straight out just above the top of the GPU. Also never thought RAM clearance would be an issue installing a GPU but i dont think anything beyond low profile ram (G Skill Flare) would fit as the side (top) of the GPU is above the bottom of the RAM Slots.

Great Quality but Not Universal
This is a well made vertical mount and it installs pretty easily in my NZXT H9 flow case. BUT, the mount puts pressure on the USB 3.2 cable once installed, due to its location on my Asus X570E board. The problem is due to the width of mounting platform, which sits too close to the motherboard.I think this will work if you are are using a smaller board, but I would proceed with caution on ATX boards with the USB 3.2 connection at the very bottom.

It seems like a decently designed universal bracket.
The problem with universal brackets is they fit 'most' applications not every application. This bracket does not fit the Fractal Design North that I bought it for. It seems well made otherwise and I may be keeping it and maybe scavenging the cable to use with my 3D printer to make my own bracket OR use the whole thing for a different project.

Would not work correctly with Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming WiFi II and RTX4080
I have been trying to find a solution that would allow me to install my RTX4080, and my RTX3060 and the same time since the RTX4080 is sooo large, taking up 4 slots, that it blocks my 2nd PCIe x16 slot by just a few millimeters. I knew getting this that if it worked, I would need to cut away the metal plates in the back of my case to make room for it and I was willing to do that if it worked, but I have tried two different adapters so far, the first being meant for PCIe 3.0 and hoped that was the reason for why it was not working right, but getting this product which is meant for 4.0 seems to confirm it is some other issue. While it seems to work fine for the GPU itself and did allow me to have my 3060 installed (gaming, rendering, and burn-in testing appeared to work okay), it would cause all my other devices in my computer to constantly disconnect and reconnect, including hard drives, USB controllers, Wifi, so on. I could hear my HDD's just clicking over and over as they disconnected/reconnect and my mouse/keyboard would constantly drop and reconnect.I don't know if my motherboard is just too sensitive to allow a cable like this work right with such a beast of a GPU or what. I even tried forcing the bios settings to Gen3, but nothing worked. It works fine with the RTX 3060, but that is a pretty6 low powered card compared to the 4080. In the end I was forced to modify my new 4080 by cutting enough room on the plastic covering so I could use my other 3.0 extension adapter with the 3060, while keeping my 4080 installed normally.I am not sure I can fault the product itself since it did happen with 2 different brands, but clearly there is some strange thing that prevents it from working right which is why I have to give it 4 stars. I really wish I could have used this adapter so I did not need to void my new GPU's warranty, but whoever designed it was a moron as it prevented anything from being installed a 2nd PCIe slot. I hate returning things but I may be forced to do so since it did not solve the problem of everything disconnecting on me when it was installed, and I just have no use for it now.
