Easy to put together and makes a very bold statement ...
Brought for my daughter but now I want one! Easy to put together and makes a very bold statement for any room! Light weight so can be moved around if needed but very well made and the colour's are amazing! Will fit in with all different decor and in any room! Lovely!

Looks good but not Orange.
The item is of good construction and fits together in a couple of minutes. The electrical components seem of a standard that you would expect from an electrical light sold in the UK. The image illuminates well but is not Orange as shown in the picture, its multi-coloured. There are other listing for this product that show how it looks (coloured) and them pictures seem more accurate. Maybe I've been sent the wrong item or its been miss labelled. Overall it's a nice product and works well as a decorative lamp as the item is intended to be. (pictured)I have now added a flame effect bulb to the lamp instead of the basic bulb which comes as standard. I would highly recommend doing this, make it more Orange and the flickering effect really highlights the picture.

A reasonably priced, decorative, little lamp.
I should know, by now, to take note of dimensions prior to purchase. Obviously, the lamp being smaller than I imagined, is totally my fault for imagining, rather than reading the description. The lamp itself, is very flimsy. It was a bit of a fiddle to assemble. There are no holes on the bars, to show where the screws should go. It's a soft wood, and the screws are only a couple of cm, so it's not a major issue. As, I said already the frame is not robust, the panels slide into each other, with tongue and groove, they don't have anything to hold them in place. To ensure the frame stays in shape, and assembled, there are two cross bars which, once secured, make the frame stable. The problem is, unless I've not assembled it properly, or I'm missing an obvious solution (BOTH scenarios are VERY likely, where I'm concerned) once the bars are in place, across the top and base, it is going to require some tiny hands, or amazing dexterity to change the bulb. The image of the lamp is,accurate, although, I think it looks and feels more hand crafted than the image suggests, obviously it's not easy to convey feelings or textures on camera.

Pretty dodgy- wouldn't trust it to be switched on.
I bought this a couple of years ago and it was binned unceremoniously after a month or so. First of all, it was an absolute nightmare to put together. The pieces didn't fit and generally everything was a bit wonky. Took 2 people and a hammer to put it together (and at one point the hammer was nearly used in pure rage to wreck the lamp) We persevered largely because I didn't want to pay any return postage. Then, there was the really dodgy plug to navigate- a 2 pin prong that rested loosely into a UK fitting. I actually wore rubber gloves when plugging in because I was sceptical of how safe it was. The lamp was on twice before the bulb blew. The bulb was a really tiny tiny fitting, so was almost impossible to get a replacement. Had to go onto eBay to get said replacement as couldn't find anything in the shops suitable. After hunting down a bulb, I put it in, for it to blow again! Now, given the fact that this is mainly a wooden/ paper lamp, I would think this is quite risky. I have used the same socket for other lamps and have not had an issue, so can only assume it is poor wiring.Only after getting rid of the lamp did I realise that I could have removed the wiring and glued a little tea-light holder on the wooden bar at the bottom. Would have been perfectly safe with one of the little electric tea-lights. Something to keep in mind if you still have one lying around and are too scared to use it!

Happy with my purchase!
Very happy, every thing in perfect working order. Looks exactly like the picture when you turn on the light. Plus had a bit of fun putting it together. Plus it arrived faster than expected. It's was a gift myself but I'm sure it would make a good gift for friends or family. Would recommend!

lamp
The lamp that arrived, didn't have the skull design that I ordered, it had an owl design instead. However, the Owl design was beautiful and we are very happy with it. It arrived well before christmas as well which was great. I'm confused by the description 'vintage' as the lamp was neither vintage in age or style. A minor thing though as we were very happy.

Disappointed with the quality of this product
Disappointed with the quality of this product. It took over a month to arrive and the bulb was broken. It looked as though it was pre-used.
