Urn
This urn is heavy, well made, and just beautiful. My husband loved LSU so the purple and gold one was perfect. Well worth the price.

Just in time
I ordered this two days before going to my grandmother's funeral. I was quite pleased it arrived a few hours before I left for the airport. My grandmother was a proudn Minnesota Vikings fan, so the purple and gold color was perfect. The urn was also of sturdy construction, which came in handy as I hand-carried it onto the plane. My only gripe was how awkward the lid threaed onto the urn. It took me about half a dozen attempts before I found the sweet spot to get it to screw on properly. It did get a tight seal, but it was more troublesome than I expected. This could further be complicated if the user is especially emotional over a recent death in the family.

Beautiful craftSmanship!
The media could not be loaded. The curiosity took the best of me. As a vine member, I get to experience things for free. I have a few family members that have passed and some are that age of risk. I have never seen till now one of these containers until because we use the traditional way. I Was thinking about myself, We had a talk with my kid about what will be my wishes. She says she wants to have me next to her. And decide to get it, for me to help rap the idea into my head. I don't find it weird to talk about that because I believe is another plane besides this one. I apologized beforehand if this bothers you, is not my intention, I am just being honest about why I got this.About the urn, let me tell you it is beautiful. I was like WOW, such detail and the paint is so nice on the outside. It's hard to believe its purpose, but I see why they make it so beautiful. The inside is black and it bleeds but is not a lot (you see me touch my fingers on the video). I am amazed by the craftsmanship in this piece. They go as far as the lip cover turning as a bottle would seal. It comes with a black, sore of velvet bad I guess to place the ashes there. It's made of ceramic material, I am not an expert not sure what is it. It is lovely and also fragile. It comes very well protected I will say. I love the golden ages, make them so luxurious at the same time.Respectfully let me say, I am sorry about your loss and I hope you find this Urum a lovely reminder of the one you love.Thank you so much for reading

Beautiful
I am so morbid. I already have an urn for myself.....not sure why this was shown to me again....but I DO like purple. For any female, born in Feb., passed in Feb. or it is just your favorite color, this is a nice urn. In researching the "end of life" options and preparations, I noticed that the local facilities will NOT release ashes in a box or whatever so that you places your family members in a position of buying THEIR urn, at $400. Just buy your own while you are alive this way there is no question as to what you wanted and saves everyone the trouble while they are mourning. The lids screws on and is very secure with small threads. This is good to know as my family will have very specific instructions for this vessel. This will be used for my ashes from the crematory to the cemetery. Family members will be instructed to listen to The Cult, Firewoman, during this ride where they will literally "shake, shake, shake, shake it, yeah." lol. I'll hopefully be watching this and laughing from above, not below.

Beautiful, handmade urn.
I was surprised when I picked up the package, it was much heavier than I expected. I did not expect it to be constructed of solid brass like it is. I figured it would have brass accents, but that is definitely not the case. The designs are all clearly engraved by hand, you can see the natural variations. I think it's a beautiful touch for a memorial product, rather than being mass produced on a machine. The painting appears to be done by hand as well, and I will echo the aforementioned carving sentiment. For what it's worth, the threading on the lid is smooth too, though I suspect for most, its use will be a one time affair.
