First time properly bleaching my hair 😱
I was so full of trepidation bleaching my hair! Nail-biting-edge-of-seat trepidation, the kind where you clench your butt and it doesn’t un-clench until you’re through the tunnel and your hair is slightly yellow, mostly orange and it’s not falling from your head and you can finally breathe through the panic. I’m naturally blonde so I’ve never had to use bleach as I’ve always been terrified of completely changing the colour in case I can’t get it back (I’m platinum mixed with ash blonde so it’s a notorious colour to try and colour match). BUT after wanting to go ginger/red for the longest time, I decided to take the plunge. And use red henna 🤦🏼♀️ BIG MISTAKE! ⛔️ While I’m glad I decided to go the natural route and I had 6 glorious months of being a colour I’ve never been and my hair growing like the weeds in my garden, I got annoyed I had to keep dyeing the roots every 2-3 weeks (I know, I know, I shouldn’t complain with that kind of growth!) and decided I needed, in that moment, I HAD to be blonde again. The gremlin in my head wouldn’t leave me alone about it 😬 So I decided to give this bleach a go with a *gasp* 30 vol and see what would happen on some test strands and when they didn’t bubble/melt/spontaneously combust into flame, I slathered it all over my noggin, wrapped myself head to toe in clingfilm and sequestered myself upstairs so I couldn’t dye any furniture/blankets/husband/animals. I left it on for the max time and I’m glad I did and didn’t let fear take a chokehold on me. I definitely shouldn’t have tried toning it before the second round of bleach and I wish I’d found Brad Mondo’s vids before doing this 🫠 as I’ve found out the hard way, a toner does not change colour! You will have white roots and orange and blonde lengths. But we’re here now so there’s no going back. After a second round of bleach, I was pleasantly surprised my hair was still in good condition. I shouldn’t have done the third round though, as that is where my hair started to tell me off and get very dry at the ends! I still have 2 sachets of bleach left and I fear they may never be used. After using purple shampoo, violet rinses and plenty of moisturising hair masks and multiple oiling sessions for a month, I’m finally getting to a level of blonde that doesn’t need covering with a hat every time I leave the house and my roots are coming back through strong. The next port of call will be trying to find a shade of Demi-permanent platinum/ash to match my growth so I can go back to my natural haircare routine and the time I was a redhead will be a faint, beloved memory. As a newbie, please do the research I thought I had done and any veterans who buy this, I salute and covet your knowledge and expertise. Very good quality product and definitely worth the price. My advice would be to not buy the accompanying developer and buy a bigger bottle like I did. It’s good to have a lil extra, just in case! Please do a strand test beforehand, as I got lucky, the henna I used was free of salts. If you’re a silly goose like me, don’t forget you’ve just used bleach and use a salt spray. I think that’s what ruined my hair the third time round 🙄 Happy bleaching! ♥️

Used it to remove henna and indigo build up
I have been using henna and indigo since the birth of my baby as I usually suffer horrendous post partum hair loss. Now my baby is a year old I wanted my platinum hair back... 😩 I started with a hair dye remover, didn't do much. Waited a few days and used my Mastoora Beauty botanical moisture Repair shampoo and conditioner. Then did a bleach bath, also with my botanical shampoo as it has moisture Repair oils ( think olaplex dupe) After 3 more days I did foil hilights over my hair just to specifically select pieces and spots that had henna build up. Once I had lifted most of the henna out and was a lovely amber colour with some build up patches ( really wasn't lovely, if you know, you know) I got shades eq and did a root melt ( I never bleached my roots) to pull down sections over the redish areas that remained. Now I have a lovely root melt ( similar to ella bangs) and sandy blonde ends and highlights. After a month I will lift with some baby lights and continue babylights once a month until I brighten out the rest of the red/ orange that remains ( mainly the upper mid shaft) I can always add low lights in sections but I don't think I'll need to.. I used 20vol developer and foils. I don't recommend using anything higher with bleach at home unless you have a friend who is trained or knows what they are doing as 20vol is very forgiving. It takes long to do your whole head ( foils or not) and to be fair, you can remove your foils once you add the last ones to slow or almost stop their process if you feel it's been too long or they are ready and don't want to wash them yet. You will have minimal damage, 20 vol is forgiving and you can do it twice in one day ...if need be.

Fantastic stuff
This is great stuff, my hair was very light on top and nearly black the lengths and looked not good to be honest, fed up of dying my hair and the grays coming through too fast so thought i would go lighter, the photo is after 50 minutes, you can see how dark it was at the top, I left it the full 90 minutes on my hair and mostly blond with a lot of orange and yellow so going to try a toner tomorrow but happy with it because it's stripped most the colour out so if the toner doesn't work just a temporary light dye on or the shampoos you can buy, now when my grey well white does come through it won't show so much, I paid loads to have someone do this a few years ago, she did this over about 5 days and it ruined my hair but this hasn't damaged my hair and done most in one go, I left normal conditioner on for 10 minutes after and it's nice and soft so very happy with this, the 2nd photo is after 2 rounds of this, 2 washes with purple blue shampoo and conditioner and a leave in treatment,

recommend BUTTTT
actually worked way better then i thought it would since i have over years worth of different coloured dye build up in my hair , the 2nd photo was my previous hair colour(purply/red which was vibrant that’s just bad lighting) and it managed to get it to the colour in the 1st photo in only one round of bleach , i definitely recommend buying more then you think you’ll need (i bought 2 boxes and 3 cream peroxide things but definitely needed more to fully coat my whole head!! ) overall really good , defo recommend even though i did have stringy jelly like hair (fixed by thoroughly washing my hair with shampoos and all) and it has been left quite rough however since then ive been putting serums and that on and its gone back to normal texture and i did do a toner on this a few days afterwards as i obvisouly didn’t want the yellow tones i was left with !

Good
It's good, quite effective and nice. It doesn't smell great but most bleaches don't so that's nothing new

I have very dark hair and I love to dye my hair fun colors all the time. I've used literally every hair bleach out there, and this one works the best.
