Very close to the other brands
I purchased the coyote color version of the Sailofo boot and they ran about 1/2 size too large for me. I have to say other than that, they were very close in similarity as far as overall look and feel goes, as the more expensive US brands used for the military. These are far superior to the other less expensive brands that Amazon carries and that claim to be military, hiking, or motorcycle boots (btw you can't have all three nailed in one boot). The matierals and processes in the Salofo boots are very similar to that in Belleville, Danner, and Garmont series. It makes you wonder where all the folks across the board source their leather, soles, insoles, upper and lower materials. I think we'd be surprised how much the more expensive brands have been marked up - and for non Berry Compliant versions, where they were really made. For this boot, you will want to get a bettern insole for hiking. I could easily feel the pressure from the outsole, which by the way is similar to the Garmont Bifida. It's really good. It's not officially a Vibram product, but I'd say, very close. The laces and boot hardware were similar to other boots. Leather was a a slighly different color than the upper material. I didn't mind as these would eventually all turn the same color due to the elements. In short, for the price - go for it get a pair.

Great boot for active boys
I bought these boots for my grandson to wear when he’s out with his Papaw. He loved them. I liked that they are well made and have long string that can tie around the top part of his boot. They are worth the price because he’s put them through a lot. Lol They are waterproof fit him good and the weight of the boot isn’t too heavy for him. He’s 11 years old and has no problem with them. He says they feel comfortable when he wears them. They have a good grip resistant bottom too that makes it easier in mud. I think he’ll get some good wear out of them.

Backup boots
These boots are not the most comfortable or easiest to break in if you’re used to the name brands such as Garmont, Oakley, Nike, Danner, etc. I have worn them for the past 10 days in rain, heat, and mud and they still need a bit more time to break in I believe. They are not the worst boots I’ve owned but if you find yourself standing in an almost 2 hour long battalion formation you will definitely start to feel it. However they are relatively similar to Garmont boots design it is a big difference in comfort as well as it is higher up the ankle than I prefer. They are about 8 inches high and I’m used to about 6 inches this makes a difference when you walk in them as well as taking them on/off. I would say overall they used solid materials from what I can tell hopefully last me about 3-6 months before I buy another set they are a solid as a back up set if you’re in the military to keep as an extra pair in the car or closet would not recommend for everyday use.

Love my boots
I seen bad reviews about this boots but honestly they are good for the price. They haven't fallen apart and I play paintball in the desert where I leave so that should say something
