Q: Does this product give a smooth finish?

Earlier I left a comment about this product,the only thing I forgot to mention is like all waxies keep it off your plastic moldings as it goes white and is hard to remove I done it but removed the whiteness with a baby wipe

Q: Can this be used on the windows?

A lot of people have said not to use this wax on your car windows... However I use it on them all the time and it work great! I clean the windows first and then apply the wax. After waiting 10 minutes for the wax to set I buff it off with a cloth. You can really notice a difference when driving in the rain as the drops of rain bead right off the glass and you don't even need to use your wiper blades.

Q: Johnson's paste floor wax has been recommended to me for keeping a cast iron table clean and protected. That's expensive, but will this do the job?

The only answer I can give you is as follows: I personally have coated my cast iron light fitting that light up my drive as being on the north side of the property is prone to hard winds and the paintwork suffered. Since coating them with Johnsons wax they maintain a "new look" all year round. I have also used it on the metal bench ends of the bench down by the pool which helps keep it looking fresh. I usually coat the metalwork twice a year. Hope this answers your query

Probably not. You will probably be better off with beeswax for wood furniture.
