I ordered this dress for an event - to be used as a Fairy Godmother dress up (put my own little twist to it). I ordered a size medium (my regular size) and the color silver. With this color, depending on the light it might look a bit tan but that’s ok. I’m 5’6. As others mentioned, yes the dress is long - but I will leave as is. I love how it fits and feels, the sleeves are absolutely beautiful and overall I have to say that I’m very impressed with the quality of the dress. One little mishap - which is not a biggie to me: the backside is missing one loop for the string/rope - which either the extra to be removed or add the missing one.

The size was perfect! it looked so gorgeous and the material is worth the prize, i was skeptical at first but I have no regrets buying it! it feels super comfortable while you wear it, maybe a bit heavy but thats no issue! Love how it has the Hood, the dress just looks beautiful in all angles!

Upon reading description, I ordered a size medium. It stated sizes ran small. It actually ran large. I am 5’7 and usually wear a small or medium in tops. Size 6 jeans. I was unsure if I was going to wear black or white so I ordered both. The medium was large on me and very very long. I noticed that one of the ribbon loops on the back of both the white and black costumes was broken. The cord they BOTH came with were very smelly like it had sat somewhere with moisture. However, I liked the costume and I wanted to see if I ordered a small if it would arrive fine. I received the small white and it fit well everywhere, but was still very very long. All the ribbons were intact. I actually washed the rope because again it had a smell to it. The smell came out. I had the costume hemmed 7” all the way around. It still left a little train in the back which I was fine with. I did not wear heels with this. I was worried the ribbons would break during the evening after I had the cord in, but they did not. As another buyer stated, the cord was a pain to put in. Had to be really careful. I ended up knotting the ends as tightly as possible to help with the fraying. Overall, it worked well for my white witch costume. I was unsure on a 3 or 4 star rating but due to the final dress and how it held up for the night, I chose 4/5 stars.

This dress is AMAZING. gorgeous and lovely material. I had to iron it a bit because it was super wrinkly, but that’s just to be expected. It was a bit long, I’m 5’2, and around 115 pounds, but that’s ok. I got this for a Halloween costume and by the end of the night the ends were dirty from dragging on the floor but it was night time so you couldn’t even tell. If you’re taller than 5’6, it shouldn’t be a problem.Very comfortable, a bit stretchy, and the lace arms are beautiful. (In my picture I have a lace turtle neck on, so don’t mind that part, your neck actually shows, and if you have a large chest it would show a bit of cleavage.)Would definitely recommend!

The materials are as described and comfortable, fits me well in almost all areas.I’m 5’5” and 135 lbs, 34A cupI would say the chest has some excess fabric on me, I have to fold the material over itself and I’ll probably stitch it down flat.It did come ripped along the seam of the velvet material and middle lace section, which I read has happened in a few other reviews as well, but I can stitch it myself.Theres very long lengths of rope for the corset tie on front and back of the dress, but I can cut them to size so better to have it longer than too short.

This dress was a gamble for my raven witch Halloween costume, and I’m so happy I bought it! It fit me perfectly and was very flattering on. I can’t remember the last time I felt awesome in a Halloween costume. I got so many compliments and I would buy this again. The ropes are really really long so I trimmed them and some of the corset ribbon holders broke, but I just added a few stitches to reinforce them and it was perfect again. I’m 5’6, 145 lbs. and ordered a medium. Thanks for making a great costume dress. I can’t wait to wear it again for another costume variation!

Way better than expected! Fits very well and the laces in front and back can be tightened or loosened to help create that hourglass figure that every Victorian witch should have. Velvet material is thick and of excellent quality; so are the mesh sleeves. I'm 5'8 and 150 and the medium fits well; the small would have fit, too. Will keep me warm on that cold Halloween night, and just stretchy enough that I can wear leggings and a tank top underneath for a little extra warmth. Would definitely recommend.
