Q: How do you connect these rfid cptrol tags. have no instruction ....?

In the app if you press the key in the top right. Then click on my locks, then click the button that says “tap for settings”. Then click cards/ tags. And at the bottom it will say add a tag then just follow the instructions

Q: Does anyone know what type of rfid chip these use?

The only scanner I have is my phone and that doesn't even acknowledge they exsist if you try to scan them. So not they are not NFC, that as much as I can tell you I'm affriad.

That depends on the lock your using rather then the tags. I have the Yale Conexis L1 and unfortunately no you can not set times on the tags. On the Conexis L1 you can how ever use the phone app to send virtual keys to people's mobiles which can have time restrictions on them. I initially found the app to be quite in reliable and switched to mainly using tags like these but I know they did make efforts to fix that and on the times I have used the app recently it has always worked for me.

Hard to say. What lock do you have? Do you have any other physical access tokens (fobs, cards, etc.) that do work? If your just using the phone app currently and don't have any other physical access tokens then could be an issue with your lock. Could also be an issue with the phone tags but in my experience it is not common for physical access tokens like these to have faults. I have had no issues pairing these or any of the other Yale physical access tokens to my Conexis L1 lock.

Great RFID tag

Easy to install. The only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 is the thickness. After attaching the tag to my wife's phone, we need to order a new phone case since it a little bit thick for the original apple phone case to cover. Still satisfied.

AVOID DO NOT WORK

2nd time I’ve ordered these ( thought the first was a dodgy batch maybe) and these don’t work either!! Won’t allow themselves to be programmed!!!Done factory reset on the door tried again no avail…. Reprogrammed old tags an fob no problem so i know these are fake / faulty
