Got this for my Hero 6 and it is very useful, the gopro fits well and it is easy to set up, pretty good price for what you get. I personally use it for mounting to my airsoft helmet. Useful for rainy weather / going underwater. Overall a good gopro case for older models.5/5

This is a great waterproof case and is fully water tight, I've tested in the pool with both my 5 black and 7 black and it's solid, I think it would also make a good protective case for extreme sports too like my downhill mountain bike riding so it can have other uses as well as in the water, this will be coming on holiday with me this year for sure, nice product.

was really protective and not a drop off water in the case and so fun to make videos with and make the gropro have good video quality

Worth to buy it

This fits the GoPro 7 very well and looks good. I don't really get underwater videos much, but it's a nice option to have.The mounting screw is long enough that it clears the body of the case which is super important. So many 3rd party products fail at this. This is also made easier with the wide thumb screw. Even if you have a wetsuit glove on, you can adjust the tension of the screw and the position of the camera.The worst part about it honestly something that I knew it wouldn't have- so I'm not upset about in the slightest bit- you lose the functionality of the touchscreen when it's in the case. Of course, I didn't expect to have use of it, but as someone who likes to flip back and forth between photo and video, it takes a bit to get used to.This is definitely a good buy and a worthwhile investment!

Tho the hero 7 black is technically waterproof, this is still great protection for anyone spending excessive amounts of time in the water and and don’t want to “wash” their go pro after. Personally I use mine for motor sports so this will help with bugs mud and unidentifiable muck. Just wish it had a skeleton back door for extra heat dissipation.

Straight out of the box this thing is great and seals perfectly. I imagine it would float just as well. I can’t speak on actual performance, as I’ve only had it for a day before the clasp/locking mechanism broke. Not worth the money.
