A useful addition for the puzzle addict!
Its a great little gadget!Easy to use and if there was one down side is that it is quite small and the lid is a could be difficult to open if you have arthritic fingers or less able,The buttons are quite well spaced.Handy to pop in your pocket or bag if you were going away.

Works OK.
This xword solver works OK and is built stronger, but the Seiko equivalent holds more words and seems to work faster. Next time I will revert back to Seiko.

Updated model much better
My aunt asked me to get her a replacement the same one she has had for years and used it almost every day. She felt it was not as clear as it was. She is delighted with the replacement and says it’s clearer, and much better than the older one. I’ve taken her comments over the phone as I can’t visit her at the moment! So if you ask me a question, I won’t be able to reply

Close but not close enough!
It looks good, feels good, handy & clear - but it is not as good as the previous model. When looking through the data base for words it often 'hangs up'. Some words are not found at all: they are there on the older model. A lot more phrases and expressions but not necessarily useful in solving crosswords!A little disappointing.

New version of old Franklin Chambers.. Easier use and my dad's delighted
My dad tasked me with finding a replacement for his old Franklin Chambers crossword solver.... I showed him different ones on amazon but he said he'd trust me to pick a good one! #pressure! I read so many reviews and ended up picking this one which is the newer version of his...My dad is delighted. He says it's even easier to use, the crossword solver is excellent with quick response time and the anagram solver is much better than the old one... It solved ones which his old one wouldn't! He's delighted and asked me to leave a really good review for it.(it also arrived 2 weeks before the estimated delivery date)

Word /crossword solver.
Totally different to what I am used to. It’s smaller for a start, slightly awkward to manipulated and read. Would be better if it was slightly larger. I’m a lady but I have large hands! Long fingers and manicured nails. I am using it but sometimes I have problems with the buttons. Good thing is that it sits in my handbag ok.
