Excellent aftersales care and communication and excellent quality WB
I first left a poor review for this water butt as when it arrived some parts were missing and it had a dint in the bottom (not affecting its water holding ability and invisible on the stand). This was unfair as I should have contacted the seller before giving a review.Aftersales is fantastic with this company and I was immediately contacted by them when they saw my review, apologising for any problems and immediately said they would send the missing parts by next day courier (which they did) and gave me a £10 refund for the trouble (which I didn't want as the missing parts was more than enough but they gave me).The water butts are really good quality and are very sturdy and would recommend them and the company to buy and buy from.Carl

Solid and well-designed.
A sturdy, well-designed water butt. The supplied template makes it easy to make the right cuts in the downpipe. After that, assembly is a doddle. The lid fits securely and no problems with siting to right or left of the drainpipe. The feed pipe enters through the back and the tap sits on the front. The flexible connection pipe is just long enough to turn the butt through 90 degrees if you need to. For me it works best to leave it straight so that I have the wall on my right as I'm filling a watering can.Edit: As others have commented, the tap dripped slightly. I then discovered that it wasn't seated properly. Hold the body firmly and push down on the handle and you should feel a slight click. It then works opposite to the usual tap direction, i.e. it's clockwise to turn ON. There's now no drip whatsoever on mine.

Great product with one small drawback.
I bought 2 of these water butts. Solid water butt. Good value. But the tap not designed to receive a hosepipe connection - which meant that one had to buy the right tap for a hosepipe to be fitted. An additional cost to buyers who need this. Why Whitefurze do not provide this as standard is puzzling! So 4 instead of 5 star rating.

A good water butt
This was a replacement for an old broken water butt. I used the original down pipe fitting and had to replace the feeder pipe but all is now working well.

The tank is fine but the tap is worse than useless
The water butt arrived promptly & proved to be very simple to assemble & install. I had noticed previous comments about the tap being drippy but nothing prepared me for the extent to which it leaked. Shortly after installing the tank it rained to the extent that it filled the tank to the level of the tap outlet. That started it dripping & now, two months later the water level has got no higher. However, the bucket which I placed under the tap has overflowed several times so the cause of the leak is now established. I have since replaced the "CR4P" tap with a robust lever type so hopefully the leak is now stopped.

Just the same as all the other cheap junk water butts
Very poorly made, leaks from around the tap perpetually. Lid was broken in the box. Base just about sturdy enough if you're careful and never even think of moving it. Overflows half the time despite being correctly installed. It seems like 99% of these are all from the same Chinese manufacturer so my advice is to pay the least possible money for it, as they're all the same, unless you're willing to spend £150+ on a properly designed one.You might be able to get the tap not to leak if you cover it with plumber's tape before fitting it.

Great Addition Tu My Green Fingers
My Carnivorous Plants Are Really All Buzzing And Are Really Overwhelmed. They Can Only Survive On Rain Water So If Youve Had Them And Killed Them Off By Givin Them Tap Water Then Shame On You. Very Easy To Install Once You Realise You Dont Own A Hak Saw And Need 1 As Cowboy Council Workers Had Cemented The Down Pipe Into The Ground Lyk Y Wud You Even Do That When The Drain Is Millimetres Away. Been Raining Today So Ive Got A Pure Chuffty On That It Duznt Leak & Is Now Half Full. I Turned Into Hoarder Of Bottled Rain Water Thinkin I Was Gona Run Out N Mi Larl Pals Wud Die. Had My Plants 4years.going to invest in a few more from little shop of horrors. Very cheap very well packaged arrives within 5 days unlike the very expensive things there getting away with sellin on here. Check them out if ur scruffy n your house is full of flies.
