Warm, well balanced, not too bassy and seem well made. Recommend.
First impressions (will update when I've used them for longer). Having tried more expensive earphones (Sony MRD EX650s @ £40) and been very disappointed - by the harshness, lack of warmth and poor bass and the awful tangly cable - and spent ages looking at reviews, I went for these on grounds of price, looks and what seemed like a high % of genuine reviews. Very glad I did. The build quality seems good, you get a wide choice of tips, the plastic-coated cable doesn't seem prone to tangle excessively and the jack seats nicely in my iPad even though I use a robust protective cover. Best of all, the sound is nicely balanced between bass, mids and highs and the vocals are clean and clear. I listen to a wide range of music from relaxing instrumental works for Native American pipes and classical music, through Pink Floyd, Queen, Tailor Swift, YouTube artists like Georgia Merry, Communique, to Lindsey Stirling (dubstep violin). These cope with all of those very competently and, to my ears, the overall has the warmth I was looking for. Sure the bass could be a tad more powerful, but for £10 that's a minor quibble. If these last then they are truly brilliant value for money.

Amazing quality and value
I ordered these after the wire on my previous headphones broke. Tried the Apple ones supplied with my iPod but they were awful while listening on the bus! The sound of the bus' engine was too loud. So I thought I'd try these noise-isolating headphones as they had good reviews.I tried them on the bus today. They blocked out most of the engine noise, and the conversation around me. I'm pretty happy with this. The packaging is great: they come in a sturdy box, and if you lift the 'floor' of the box, you'll find a case, and rubber tips for the earbuds in a variety of sizes to fit all kinds of human ears.... the wire is copper coloured and coated in plastic. Not as flimsy as some of the wires in other headphones. I am hopeful that they'll last a long time. Finally, the makers inform me that they are a small, UK based company. This is really good news for those that like to support local industries. I've no idea how they make such good headphones at a fraction of the cost of the 'big-boy brands' but I'm delighted with my purchase and happy to recommend them to others.

Great earphones...with a tiny niggle...
Nice, well-built, comfortable earphones. Above all, the sound (classical music/opera for me) is natural and musical...not a big, overemphasised bass as so often! Why did I deduct one star (half actually...but Amazon won't do halves!)? That's because there seems to be NO indication as to which 'phone is left and which is right - and it's important unless you are listening to a mono recording. I have actually "fixed" this by identifying L & R with a cleaner/setup CD, then winding a small piece of white wire around the left 'phone...but I shouldn't have had to do this. That apart (and it's only a small moan) these are highly recommendable earphones!

No left or right
Overall I was really impressed by the quality but there are a few frustrations. No volume control is one but the main issue is that the ear pieces aren't molded for left and right ears. The slightest breeze makes them fall out of my ears. They did include a baggie with several sizes and kinds of rubber pieces for the buds but I've tried them all and there doesn't seem to be an improvement. The convenient thing is I often wear these to go to sleep and they'll naturally fall out when I do fall asleep so I don't wake up later to take them out.

Brilliant
I've had 3 pairs of these. Absolutely brilliant sound, great fit and look nice. My son like them so much too that I had to get more as he took mine. Great value for the price

Feel much more expensive than they were.
I am mightily impressed by the quality of these earphones for their price. No, they aren't as good as Bose ones costing £200, how could they be?! But they are bloody good quality for their price- twelve quid when I bought them. Solid metal parts, well-made cables that feel like they will last without splitting or fraying, a selection of earbuds to fit different ears, a natty wee snap-top pouch to keep them safely tucked in, a luxuriously well-designed box; all these elements give me confidence that the bits I can't see are designed with equal care. I can't tell you if these have fantastic sound quality for listening to music since I use them for podcasts and audio books- but I find them great for that! They have symmetric cords to each ear, which is my personal preference, and an optional wee crocodile clip that I find very useful for keeping the cord where I want it. I love the unusual rose-gold and black colours. (I'm really very happy with my new earphones- can you tell?) I'll end with a warning- I think it's clear from the product information, but just in case: these do not have in-line volume or pause/play buttons, nor a microphone. But if you will be happy without those features, I would highly recommend these earphones.

Poor construction
I bought a pair of these and was happy with the quality of sound, though found the flex of the cords a bit annoying. However the cord around the attachment of the earplugs and jack started to unravel after around six months and the right earplug stopped working altogether. I complained to the seller who offered me a replacement pair. I accepted these based on the reputation of the brand but these too have started to come apart. I asked for a refund but was told that as these were no longer under warranty that this wasn't possible. Frustrating as if I'd pushed for a refund in the first instance rather than accepting a further pair of poorly constructed earphones then I could have got my money back and bought a better pair.
