Q: Is this for out side of front door too

Well, that's a good question! I ordered mine because it says nowhere on the page that it can't be used outside, which of course is where a wreath such as this would normally go, and the other respondents here seem to confirm that. HOWEVER... imagine my surprise when I open the box and the first thing I see is a leaflet saying "For Indoor Use Only"! It's an instruction sheet specifically for the LED lights, so perhaps it means the lights shouldn't be used outdoors as the battery/switch unit is not likely to be waterproof. Either way, it's bad that the product page makes no mention of this.

the wreath is artificial, but well made and attractive. 2years on its still going strong.

Q: I'm v. low on all batteries and need to buy some - what type of batteries and how many are required for this wreath, please? Advert doesn't say.

I haven't changed mine yet but I think they are AA size. Hope this helps, otherwise open the battery cover and have a look.

Q: how do you fix to the door

I have only used my wreath on an inside door with a class pane to which I attached the supplied large sucker with the hook holding the wreath, and found it to be very adequate. I didn't want to put the wreath on an external door as I thought it might be too delicate to stand up to wet and windy weather.
