FINALLY a DP to VGA that actually works, wish I knew about this before as I had an older monitor sitting there collecting dust. It connects perfectly and the cable quality is really good. I don't have any sound on my monitor so I cant check the sound quality. It feels really durable and doesn't feel like it'll break on me anytime soon. Also try not to break your DP port by trying to pull it without pressing on the little release button it has, it took me a moment to realise that </3

It does what it says on the tin - allowed me to connect to an older projector for an event I was taking part in. It allows you to connect to/use a VGA device (often a projector or a spare display screen) when your own laptop only has Displayport ports.

Worked great for my second monitor, good enough quality.

This is a step up from my old adapter in that it actually works and doesn't lose signal to the monitor every few seconds. Unfortunately, there's a marked difference in display quality between this and my other monitor now. The text on my other monitor is beautifully crisp, but the monitor this adapter connects to shows slightly blurred text. It's slight, but noticeable enough that it's annoying and might give me a headache after a while.

J'avais besoin de connecter un écran un peu ancien à une tour récente dépourvue de port VGA. Grâce à cet adaptateur, tout s’est parfaitement déroulé : aucun pilote à installer, tout a été reconnu immédiatement sous Windows 11. J’ai simplement branché le câble VGA à l’adaptateur, puis connecté celui-ci à la tour. Résultat : fonctionnement impeccable. Je recommande sans hésiter.
