The media could not be loaded. We have reordered these materials countless times. They work well and don’t break the bank. Filter quality is sufficient for sump style pumps or overflow filters with carbon. Keeps tank cleaner longer between large water changes and the appearance of the water is definitely clear. Good size materials that can be cut to whatever specifications you need. Pristine water every time!

I use these in my Fluval FX6. I found a YouTube video where the guy suggested using the green and blue to replace the manufactures filters on the sides of each tray as they would break down the waste into finer particles before hitting my filter floss so it doesn't clog up as quickly. If cut correctly there is enough to complete all three trays. I'm very impressed with the outcome and will buy again when time to replace.

I'm not sure they are truly 1 inch they are maybe 5/8 or 1/2 inch it's hard too tell. They are air package so when you get them wet they expand but not a bad price for the set of three filters. Just buy more then you need and you will be set. The 12 inch wide size is great and almost never need to be replace just wash them out they should last 10 years or so since they are true foam filters not filter floss.

I built a filter system for my frog pond. Very durable material that was easy to cut and fit. Works great and easy to clean. Good value for the money.

Price is fare..But even after soaking and waiting, their not as thick.or as big as the images make them appear..Don't expect top quality with these..It does in a pinch but very thin..

I've cut these to size and used them in a homemade filter. They work beautifully!
