My kids use this to capture gaming videos from various consoles. I didn’t want to invest in something with all the bells and whistles that high end capture cards have to offer. We basically just needed to be able to send video from a console to PC to store it. I am running OBS on the PC to capture the video. This capture card supports 4k resolution at 30fps, which is more than enough for their needs. Higher frame rates are also possible at lower resolutions. I found it quick and straightforward to set it up. Aside from finding suitable software for recording, it is pretty much plug and play.

PRETTY AWESOME!!! I ordered this after the disappointing month of trying to get a Big Brand Capture card to work. Once refunded from the Elgato S i found this from a streaming friend. So glad IWhen I say it's literally plug and play it is that simple. I've been using it for months now and it works amazingly! So save the $100+ and do yourself the favor getting this.
