Yankee Candle Sweet Home Tealight Candles, Tea Light (x 12)

I ordered Home Sweet Home Large Jar. this is very mixed. When I opened the jar, it was obvious that this was not a sweet smell at all. It was a sickly spicy over powering smell. I lit the wick and put the jar on the shelf, all i could smell was that awful spicy aroma. Then an hour passed, I left the room, come back and that spicy smell was gone, instead it had a really warming and cosy aroma like I wanted. I guess it might have been the way the wax hardened or something when made because although i got the odd whiff of that spicy smell, its now mainly this beautiful warming aroma that is very relaxing.

Good job Yankee!USING:Well aside stating the obvious; lid off light it! The smell is AMAZING, it simply envelopes your home with the fragrance and everyone comments on how nice your house smells! I have not found any that overpower and like most things you get used to the fragrance, but when you leave the room and come back you'll notice it again. It also gives a nice subtle sent in the room if you simply leave the lid off without lighting it. I'd suggest when at the shops, smell some, so you know which you like before buying. (Vanilla cupcake for example, I thought I'd love, but sadly no!) Spiced Orange does indeed smell like orange and warming spices ... like my mums Tea Loaf (made with marmalade! NOM!)VALUE FOR MONEY:Yes, I admit they are not cheap, but unlike some cheaper candles that don't smell much, if at all, and burn badly (leaving wobbly wave like wax and lots of black smoke) so you don't even get the full candle use anyway. Yankee are reliable and therefore better VFM in the long run. If you burn well, they last well. I purchased this same candle a year ago and I am now just replacing it, it burned throughout Christmas & New Year 2017 and has been out since mid October this year and has just finished. So while it doesn't last a full year as such, the fragrance dictates use in the Autumn / over Christmas / Early Spring time.ADVICE:On first burn always burn for several hours, you will then melt right to the edges and get the full candle use right to the very bottom, if you put it on for short periods, you run out of enough wick to melt the wax and end up creating a tunnel to the bottom! Which means bad VFM! Wipe around the neck of the bottle with a piece of kitchen roll to remove the black soot and keep it looking nice right to the very end! ADDITIONAL HELPFUL PURCHASES:Wick trimmer - this really does help stop a lot of that puffy sooty smoke coming offLllumalid - stops drafts flickering the flame to give less smoke & looks nice too!(I have popped a picture on with these to show you what they look like)If you like this fragrance, I also like, so you might too; Red Apple Wreath (cinnamon apple pie) and Black Cherry (just awesome!)CONCLUSSION:A great gift to give. Smells lovely. Burns well and looks good. The glass jar and lid are very robust as well.

Bought this not knowing what the scent would smell like. The scent isn't too bad, smells exactly like original radox bubble bath. Got it at a great price and like all Yankee Candles, they last for ages. I would recommend this if you're a fan of radox bubble bath or Yankee Candles.

Candle smells lovely but would be returning if it was a gift as lid is badly cracked. Very dangerous as I do always put the lid back on when I am not using the candle

It is not as big as it looks.Was embarrassed when it was unwrapped.Great smell and puts you in the Christmas spirt.

Was looking forward to using this one over Christmas, a bit disappointing as decided that I would treat myself to this and unlike others I normally buy that are a fraction of the cost and which fill the room with a light perfume this candle has still to produce a satisfactory aroma.
