Handmade in the French "Fleur de Sel" (Spanish: Flor de Sal) style, this gourmet salt is a natural salt that is especially rich in minerals. The "Fleur de Sel" from SAL de IBIZA has a much smoother and fresher flavor than common table salt. Our Flor de Sal is extracted exclusively from the natural reserve "Parque Natural de Ses Salines d'Eivissa", declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. Even after drying in the sun, a certain residual moisture remains in the Flor de Sal In it, a multitude of minerals and micronutrients can be detected in their original structures and in higher than average amounts, such as magnesium, fluoride, selenium and iodine. The Flor de Sal can only be harvested a few days a year and even in a good season it represents a maximum of 0.1% of the total harvest. It is formed exclusively under optimal climatic conditions in the corners of the salt fields where air circulation is greatest. Special edition in collaboration with "Plastic Free Ibiza". Saltwater marinated black garlic is the European answer to the UMAMI flavor "discovered" in Japan. Vanilla and plum nuances come into play along with caramel, balsamic and licorice.
