Comfortable and warm
This fits me perfectly. There are two snaps and a zipper for closure. The fleece lining is soft, comfortable and warm. The pockets are standard size, as are the belt loops. The front pockets are lined with fleece and kept my hands warm when I was not wearing gloves.Excellent price for the design and this makes a great value for the features.I used these in Iceland, when I went snowmobiling. They’re definitely warm. They are waterproof. The pants were comfortable and gave me a lot of mobility. They’re medium weight pants and are suitable for walking, hiking and outdoor activities in cold weather. They performed as designed.

Excellent value and super comfy
These pants are a great value, and seem to be just as good as the ones that cost three times as much or more. For somebody who goes to the snow casually, and infrequently, paying much more for something that can’t possibly be much better quality than these seems like a total waste. They are warm, water resistant, and they fit well.Through a comedy of errors, I can also confirm that they are super comfortable commando style, no base layer necessary.

Inexpensive, warm and fit well
Outdoor Ventures Ski/Snow PantsNote: Some of the photos make the pants appear grey, it is a deep black.Initial Impression• Pants fit good • A disposable tag on the pants say they are Windproof, Elastic and Waterproof, no permanent tag that says this • Advertised as high-waisted, seems like one inch higher, not uncomfortably high unless you normally wear your pants really low, not an issue for me• Adjustable velcro waist straps• Belt Loops• To be worn with long johns or underwear, would be snug if you want to wear pants underneath• The shell of the fabric is soft, not stiff which usually makes jackets or pants noisy • I find these pants fitted in the seat, hips and thighs, and the fabric does not rub, there is no swishing sound from the thighs• I get a swishy sound as the pant cuffs rub once in a while because they are wider for going over ski boots, not a deal breaker (not George Constanza suit swishy)• 4 Pockets, 2 Front, 2 Back and all four zipper close• If you want cargo pockets, look elsewhere• Zipper pulls are reflective• Articulated knees• Fabric does flex for freedom of movement• Pant Cuffs are 23 cm (9 in) wide• Do they fit over ski boots... yes they do• Do not know about snowboard boots• Pants do not have leg vents• Pants do not have gaiters, snaps or zippers on the leg cuffs• There is a hard plastic loop in the front near the left pocket, probably can be used to hook a carabiner on• All pockets and inside pants are fleeced linedCons• Would have been better if pockets were smooth nylon instead of fleece, easier to put things in and take out• You choose by waist size and inseam length based on their chart, pants delivered will come with a tag that says S, M, L, etc• This means their selection of pants is not as granular as you think, a conversion is being done from the numbers you provide and it is a hit or miss if they fit like they were tailored, OK or they drag on the ground• This is why reviews and answers about fit is all over the map• You want a tailored experience, take them to a tailor or put a crowbar in your wallet for out of the box fits like a glove pants• It is the seller and/or website owner who are getting a tailored experience because you are providing measurements that are closest to what you normally wear and you get a generic S, M, L, etc in returnFinal Thoughts• Disappointed pants are not as tailored as advertised, inseam wise• They fit good in the waist, seat, hips and thighs, not baggy so no swishy sound when walking, cuffs brush occasionally which is to be expected since they need to be large enough to fit over ski boots, not constantly brushing and is a non-issue• Pants were warm and dry while skiing for 4 days• Length of pants can be tailored, no elastic gaiters, zippers or button clasps on the cuffs, this would prevent tailoring• Like that there are 4 pockets, all zipper close• Would prefer the pockets to be nylon instead of fleece to put things in easier and take out• These are inexpensive, warm and fit well, a recommended buy• If these pants were as granular as advertised I would give it 5 stars, truth in advertising––––––

great winter pant. polished and feature-packed construction
sizing: go with your tailor's tape size rather than your vanity size, especially if you don't skip leg day. i could get my vanity size on amd closed, but i felt a pretty constrained in the hips.warmth: i bought these for mid-atlantic winters, and i think these pants will more than do the trick with no additional layers.waterproofness/breathability: if you own other non-membrane, non-treated softshell stuff, these pants should perform just the same. i assume a spray- or wash-on water repellent would work just fine, if you need these to stand up to prolonged rain/snow exposure.style, construction and features: i really wanted a casual cold-weather pant that didn't scream security contractor or snowsport enthusiast. they fit this bill quite nicely. i wouldn't take these to a white-tablecloth dinner, but aside from the slight "swishing," they could be mistaken for casual trousers.the cut is relaxed fit straight leg. i don't ski or snowboard, but i assume the leg opening is fine to go over a pair of those boots. thankfully, the construction is simple enough that i will probably alter the lower leg for a bit more of a modern cut that still fits over hiking or work boots.i don't expect to put these pants through much torture testing, but the seam and stitch quality appear high quality. the construction isn't so rugged and complicated that would prevent minor repairs or alterations if needed either. the slant pockets, dual-button closure, and reflective zip pull tabs are well thought-out finishing touches.

Love these pants
These have a great quality and fit really good. They are comfy and warm. I just wish they had a zipper on the bottom for easier fit with my ski boots. It is a tight fit. Can’t wait to go skiing with them.

These are not good for cold (35-45) degree weather
From the reviews, I thought they would be warmer but I found myself freezing on a 45-degree day with some wind while fishing. They fit great but I went and bought some fleece pants to wear under them to feel comfortable.

Great quality
Great quality. Warm, light, water resistant and stretchy/comfy pants. Be aware these are thicker that usual materials, hence excellent for cold weather temperatures.

Warm and snow proof
These pants are warmer than the Uniqlo heat tech pants. The fleece lining is of good quality. Flexible and has a good fit. Will definitely buy another pair.

WARM AND COMFY
These are excellent quality, warm pants. They are good enough quality that one could use them in door-to-door sales or if it is winter and you are standing in one place outside, but want to look sharp! With a shirt tie and jacket, these are business attire. And they keep you toasty warm.

Impressed with the quality of the material!
The pants are really good. Very resistant material, water repellent and did well in terms of keeping me warm in thermal sensations of up to -6°C. The size chosen was perfect.I really recommend this purchase!
