40 x Expansion in a can - no need for a ! Expanding Foam Filler in a can is a versatile, high quality aerosol grade expanding foam filler that uses the included straw nozzle applicator. Multi-purpose, ready to use foam in a can. Ideal for the sealing window or door frame cavities without the use of a PU Foam Applicator . Suitable for sealing, bonding, filling and insulating most construction materials. it has a predominantly closed cell structure for the minimum permeability e.g. water vapour, radon, odours and smoke. It is not suitable for direct contact in areas where surface temperatures may exceed 100°C. For hot surfaces, pre-lag with inert material i.e. fibreglass. Should not be used as the sole method of 'fixing' heavy installations e.g. window frames. TIPS: * Fresh marks left by the foam can be removed with acetone. * After application, remove the straw nozzle and clean with a pipe/ cleaner or acetone. * To prevent blockage of the valve, insert moistened matchstick or screw into the uncured foam in the valve. * For re-use remove the cured plug of foam will come away leaving the valve clean. * Remove any excess foam with a (serrated edged like a bread work best) once cured (approximately 4 hours). * If using externally, protect from UV light by painting, sealing or plastering over cured material. * Protect carpets, floors etc. by standing the can on a plastic sheet as foam will continue to exit the can for a few seconds. Warming the straw allows it to bend to be used around corners and to cut the foam use a bread . Note: This product does not perform well inverted - See Megafoam instead.Reviews
