The Dragon and the Unicorn: The Magic of Friendship (Emerald Kingdom)

Bought this book for my girls ages 3-7 - they loved it! Very cute story, also great for a practicing reader (my first grader). Storyline and illustrations are very appealing and fun to look at.

I liked how they became friends after helping each other get back home. I loved there was magic and dragon fire sneezes. I liked the whole book a lot.

Such a cute book. Bought for my 5 year old daughter. We both loved it. Great illustrations and such a good storyline. Cannot wait for more :)

This is such a cute book with beautiful illustrations. The illustrations are some of the highest quality you’ll see in children’s books. Fran and Dan both live near Marble Mountain. It separates their homes of Cloud City and Sparkle Land. When a blizzard strikes, they are both whooshed away. What a peculiar creature they both think when they first see each other. They each learn of the other's powers and think they are amazing. Fran heals Dan’s wing and Dan uses his flames to melt the ice that Fran got her tongue stuck to. They go on to try each other's favorite treats that look super yummy. But Dan doesn’t like how sweet the radiant rainbow pancakes with candy syrup tastes. They end up making it back to Marble Mountain and both agree that they couldn’t have made it without the other. This is a heartwarming story of how a dragon and a unicorn become best friends forever.

this was a great start to the Emerald Kingdom series, it did everything that I was hoping for from this type of book. The plot was what I was expecting and it worked so well. The characters worked well and I'm glad I got to read this. I look forward to read more from this series.I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
