The perfect holder for all our scrap wood. I’m a happy wife now because this makes our garage look a lot more organized. Seems sturdy and is definitely functional.

It really helps to have a stud finder and a laser level to get these mounted in line.

These revolutionized the way that i organized my shop. I was able to get lumber up and out-of-the-way and they hold a lot more lumber than I originally thought.

This is a small project and will not take a long time to install. If after reading the instructions and surveying where to install and you have decided to install this yourself, chances are you have the ability to complete the installation. It is not complicated and parts needed are included. As with any project you must be certain you have all the parts and tools necessary for the installation. A stud finder and level are required and check orientation before drilling holes. Be sure to have measured so you know the space for both the rack and what you store on it have enough room. Given the capacity of this storage rack and the weight that will be on it, anchor each rack to either a wood or steel stud or concrete. The ability to lift up unused bars is a bonus. On the down side, the length of the bars may be too short for some lumber applications so verify your weight and space requirements before ordering.

Garage Steel bar shelf. The bars flip up so can have more room when not in use. We put lots of 2x4s, 1x6s, 2 ladders 14ft & 12ft. This set is at 8ft span.The second set is gonna be 5ft span.Came with all parts to install on garage wall.So far it is holding well.The bars hold lots of weight. Since can put it any distance can use it for multiple uses. Can hang chairs on lower bar. Very versatile. Good value for money for the set of 4.

These are easy to assemble and mount on your shop or garage wall to store lumber, cardboard cartons, PVC, etc., or to hang ladders or other shelving type racks. On our shop wall, they are storing 2" x 4" and 2" x 6" lumber, PVC pipe, and various trim lumber. The racks hold a good bit and the welds seem reasonably clean so that these components appear to be well made and sturdy. I'm looking forward to long years of service from them. They certainly help to keep the shop in better working order...not tripping over piles of "stuff" anymore!9-19-2023: I need to add a few notes that I should have included the 1st time around. The included instructions are pretty clear, but you will need a few tools that are not clearly specified. A Phillips screwdriver and a 10mm and a 14 mm socket driver or wrench in addition to the tools pictured on the instruction sheet. Also, you will need metal washers to prevent the screws from biting into the aluminum supports. It would have been nice if these had been included. The provided screws are of a good size to anchor into wall studs, but the little plastic "spacer stickers" provided, should have been metal. ...same reason for needing metal washers in the 1st place. I hope these additional comments are helpful.

Useful rack for getting long stuff (lumber, conduit, PVC pipe, Pex pipe, etc.) up and off of the floor preventing accidents and the material from damage. 2 sets of racks that are quite easy to install - there are two sets of holes drilled into the black base - the larger holes are for the lag bolts that (should) go directly into a stud, and the smaller holes are for attaching the arms to the base. The arm pivots off of that screw and the body of the arm rests against the base supporting the weight on the arm. The base and arms appear to be at right angles to one another, so if you're storing something round - that will roll, you need to use caution and proper loading to keep the round stuff from rolling off, or not store round stuff on them; use good judgment and ensure your racks are properly installed and the material your storing is suitable for these racks - don't overload these devices. At the time of this review, they are rated for a max 330lbs per set - NOT per shelf.

Obviously you have to install this carefully in the center of the wall studs. That can be a bit awkward to arrange.Once installed, they take a lot of weight without any sign of sagging.they've certainly allowed me to tidy away my large collection of offcuts, which I am certain will be useful someday....
