Have purchased many different types of walnuts in the past, thought to try these, and in my opinion, they are the best!They have a creamy, almost buttery taste, firm texture and the walnuts are whole as though someone just hand picked and cracked them and put them in a bowl.Highly recommend!

In my opinion these really are the loveliest, most delectable walnuts I’ve ever enjoyed in my whole life. I’m in love! Each one is whole, and beautiful, no pieces, definitely no rotten parts, just premium quality and heavenly, through and through. These walnuts are totally awesome! Other walnuts are good, but these are Heaven itself! And no one paid me to say so, they’re just darn good! Try them for yourself like I did and see!

There are no shells, no salt has been added, no preservatives, either.Up until now, we've bought Braga Farms Organic Walnuts (which are also grown in California), but this brand (WILDERNESS POETS) is our new favorite! They're fresh & tasty!If you're familiar with PBS television, you may know of Dr. Joel Fuhrman. He's a physician who recommends eating greens, beans, berries, onions, mushrooms, seeds & nuts, every day. Walnuts (and almonds) are especially beneficial. There's no downside to including them in your diet.

The walnuts are meaty and large. I had very few broken halves in the bag. Of course, some are to be expected. I like having halves, since it makes them more versatile to use. I can break them if needed. These are raw without anything added, like salt. It’s healthier, and again more versatile. I actually toasted a few of these for a recipe, and they toasted up wonderfully. The flavor is very good. They are fresh without any rancid taste. The expiration date on my bag was good for over a year. The bag is resealable to help keep them fresh. I’ve used these for snacking, cooking and in salads. I’m not familiar with the Chandler variety of walnuts, but I really like these.
