All I can say is that had my mother needed additional phones, our choice would be Panasonic. The cordless phone works great, call block feature works very well, sound quality and connection is great.

My purchase is replacing a much loved, older model of the same three handset phone and I was amazed at how much the product has been improved. While the phone sets looked similar, the technology was worlds above the older unit. This phone was easy to set up and it offers so many more features. The clarity of both phone calls and recorded messages is excellent, as is the value for the set of three phones. It is surprising how many messages and numbers this device stores. The storage capacity far exceeds our old phone. The manual is very comprehensive, so it’s a good idea to save it to a file for future reference. I am very pleased with my purchase and I look forward to years of great service from this phone.

Received the phones yesterday and it only took me 5 minutes to get them set up. HOWEVER, programming them is something else again. My old cordless phones were more than 20 years old. Unfortunately, here in Florida, we are cursed with frequent lightening and I finally took a hit that took out my phones and also my CPR call blocker. Anyway, as to the programming, be sure to pack lots of patience to get the job done. I do wish you could adjust the volume a lot higher than available especially if you have the phone on speaker. THe sound quality is very good. There are a ton of features with this phone, most of which I will not use. But I do LOVE the amount of CALL BLOCKING that is available. If you are a person that loves bells and whistles then this phone is going to be for you. If you want something very simple then look further or just don't use the features that you don't want. THe phones are a good value and I purchased during PRIME days so did save some on that end. Over all am pleased now that I have FINALLY gotten all the numbers programmed into the phone and figured out some of the features I will use.

I had my last Panasonic answering machine cordless phone system for over 20 years. The brand is very reliable and affordable. Highly recommend this item to anyone looking for a landline phone.

This works great - I got them for my grandparents who recently moved into assisting living and needed an easy to use, loud ringing phone. Buttons are a good size, and the handset has good battery life and range.

Does what it's supposed to -- plug in the power and phone line, and it works. Lots of features, including a built-in answering machine, number blocking, baby monitor, intercom, etc. I got the model that comes with the extra extension, and it was already registered/paired with the base unit out of the box. Setup was minimal, just setting the time/date for the most part, and charging up the handheld units (they were low charge out of the box, and took a few hours to recharge fully). The default ring is loud but not unpleasant (i.e. not shrill). Touch buttons are nicely sized and soft/grippy. I don't have any cons to list, except maybe the menu navigation wasn't really intuitive to me at first, but you figure it out.

We used a similar Panasonic phone set for more than 10 years, and the phones were easy to use, uncomplicated and worked well. However, it was time to replace them. We purchased this phone set expecting the same good quality and ease of use like the earlier purchase. The new phones came with an instruction book that when opened made us laugh. Talk about a mountain of new features. We were overwhelmed and confused often. We didn't realize the complexity of today's communication environment. To use each feature one must enter a code for it to work. We like the Block Call feature, but we really don't expect to need or want the majority of the other features. We found that each phone in the new set has a problem with the speaker volume. When you answer a call the speaker's voice is barely audible even with the volume set to maximum. When we receive a call now we always have to use the speaker phone setting to hear the person. Even then, we experience some audio distortion that makes it difficult to clearly hear the speaker. The keys are large and light in the dark which is most helpful. If a lot of features are important to you, and your hearing is really good then this is the phone for you.

Your basic landline telephone. Comes with two portable handsets. Works fine. Holds a charge for a long time. There is no port for a headset which is disappointing. Sound is clear. Phone bases are small, great for small spaces. A decent phone for the price. Would have been excellent had there been headphone outlets.
