Each exercise introduces some new element, eg of rhythm. The accompanying CD can be fun to use as a backing, but you do need to practice a lot to be able to use it. I uploaded it to my phone and used a speed changer app to slow it down so that I could gradually build up to full speed. I would prefer it if the track that includes the pieces being played did not include other instruments, which makes it harder to hear exactly what the pianist is doing.

I recommend for Grade 2 Learning The pieces are both challenging and entertaining

As a more mature student of the piano, relearning after 50 years away, this is a lovely alternative to all the classical pieces my teacher gives and it is also with his blessing. Enjoy.

To basic for me but great if your starting out

Wonderful jazzy music. Great for teaching rhythm to pupils. I love anything from this great composer and use his books often.
