Night Lights for Kids Star Projector with Timer for Baby Boys and Girls

I was surprised, really. My kid is rough with things (he's 3) and so of course he beat the living crap out of this thing, but the stars keep on shinin'. It's pretty cool, actually, it's not too bright or too dim, it's not loud and there's enough color variety to keep things interesting. I just keep it plugged into the wall and have it ready to go whenever he's being fussy at bed time. I would say I'm a very satisfied customer.

It's a baby safe and quality product. I picked up this night lamp for the 3 and 5 yo boys and they used it every day. It's very relaxing and funny for kids. The stars and moon projected from the lamp which were very vibrant. You can choose various colors from blue green red and white. The night light need a pitch black room and the lights actually cover every wall in the room. You need a screwdriver to open the battery compartment located on the bottom. Overall, I’m very impressed with the light show.

Update: The company contacted me about the issue and sent me another nightlight very quickly. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I believe the main issue is with the battery pack. I was able to find a USB port adapter and it works just fine now. I'm so glad because my son loves to look at the stars while I'm rocking him to sleep! Great customer service from this company!I really like this nightlight because it’s bright and shines across the room. However, after the 2nd use all the lights went out (I turn on the white, blue, red and green) except for the white, then the white went out and the red light came on. Then the control panel lights started flashing as if there was a short. I changed out the batteries and it worked...for another 2 days. Tonight, I set the timer to go off after 60 minutes and when I went into my son’s room 2 hours later to turn the switch off, to save battery power, the control panel lights were flickering again, the white light was on and very dim and still spinning. I’m very bummed because this nightlight was exactly what we were looking for.

This is a blast. I have another one kind of similar, but I saw this one and since I wanted one in two rooms, I decided to try this one out. This is something I would have wanted so much as a kid, but I’ve never grown up...so why not satisfy that now? It certainly beats the galaxies I tried to make using black costruction paper, scissors, and a flashlight...this is a kid’s dream! (Or an adult who never had one as a kid...) ;)I had fun videotaping this circling around me as I watched the Super Bowl and then posting on SM that I was “watching the SB under a galaxy of colorful moons and stars!” This has a timer to run from 5-90 minutes in projection mode (all over walls), or as a nightlight (there’s a cover to put over it so it doesn’t project). It can spin around, stay in one spot, stay one color, two colors, three colors, or more in either mode. It has so many color options and display options. It can be run through a USB port or on batteries. This little gadget has literally every feature and option I can think of to make a fun galactical experience, short of an actual trip to the moon or the ability to defy gravity. Nice gift for any fun person interested in exploring or living under the stars!

This has become a very important staple of bedtime for both of my kids. My first had them and was just for fun but now that she is older she will not sleep if she doesn’t have them. Traveling we always pack it, take it to all over nighters, and when sleep training it was a life saver. Now that I recently had my second baby it’s in our room as well which provides enrichment as we wind down and helps with breastfeeding because there’s not too much light but enough to be able to maneuver around. Has I think 7 different color settings, up to a 90min timer or you can just turn it on and it’ll stay on all night. The first one we had lasted over a year and the cord snapped, the second one is about a year old, still in my daughters room but the rotating function has stopped. I bought the third one in anticipation for my newborn and unfortunately that one was defective, it burnt out after only 3months and just received the 4th, the replacement.

I would love to give this thing 5 stars because it is really cool, when it works. It doesn’t work more than half the time when using only batteries. Within one day of use it was turning off randomly and sometimes wouldn’t turn back on until I had it off for a while. It seems to work better when plugged in. Would have been great for the company to include a wall plug in, not just the USB cord. Otherwise, my baby loves it and it makes a great addition to her room at night!

This star projector casts such a beautiful illusion. There’s so much tailoring with this cute little machine; such as a timer, various color choices/combinations, as well as the option of having the globe rotate or not. The USB-A cord that comes with it makes it possible to conveniently plug into a computer and it also operates with batteries as well. It gives the perfect illumination. Totally over the moon with this projector (no pun intended), as I gifted this to a little one who’s mesmerized by it. This is truly something special, as I’ve watched the joy it brings. I would definitely purchase another one as a gift.

Recently one of my biggest problems is getting to sleep. I have tried everything the last month and end up till I bought this night light from one of my friends suggestion.I was a little concerned at first. When I got to use it, well it worked superbly and I have had a few days sleep now with no interference.The quality is well as it feels and looks very robust the lights are very comfortable. They are not too bright so they will not affect you getting to sleep.Set the timer on the light so it will go off after about 50 minutes I am asleep by then I do this so I can save on the use of the battery 's saving money in the long run.This is my second bought, really helps sleep.
