Works Well
This is an amazing cap. It fits very comfortably around my face and head. The front is the gel area and the back side is made of a stretchy material. I really didn't think this would be much better than just putting a warm or cold compress on my face, but I was wrong. The gel seems to mold itself to my face making it feel so warm. I heated the cap for 20 seconds on Medium Power in the microwave and that made it a very comfortable warmth. The warmth lasted for close to 30 minutes. When I received the cap, it had been out in the delivery truck for many hours, so it was very cold. The cold gel lasted over 30 minutes, closer to 45 minutes. For me, I prefer a warm compress for migraines, and I know this will work much better than trying to keep towels damp and warm. I can't attest to how well the cold will work, as that is something I don't believe I would need. But at least that option is there if I do need it someday.Besides just using it as a cap, I can see many other uses, on a knee, an arm, elbow, wherever. It isn't wet and drippy so can be used practically anywhere there is pain. This is a good helpful item to have around.

A Very Soothing Mask for a Nasty Migraine
I regularly get severe headaches, and had never tried a cooling mask until I purchased this mask. (I had tried wash clothes and ice packs, but then I would become annoyed with the sweating ice packs and the soggy wash cloth). This solves both of those problems… the material is very stretchy, so it provides light pressure on your head, and the gel in the mask provides long lasting cooling. I’ve found that keeping it I the refrigerator is the best was to keep it ready to go, but not keeping it “too cool” for my personal tastes. The gel pad is pretty thick, and the material has retained its form over many uses. My only complaint is that it is not really adjustable. While it fits me almost perfectly, a larger person may feel like the mask is too tight… still, it’s 5 stars for my purpose, especially for the price, this mask now goes everywhere when I travel.

Ice pack only in the front
Migraine Relief Cap, Headache Relief Hat for Migraine - Carethetic Migraine Ice Head Wrap, Flexible Gel Ice Cap with Cold & Hot Therapy for Tension, Puffy Eyes, Sinus & Stress Relief (Light Blue)I've used caps like this before and expected the ice pack to go around the entire head. It's only in the front. The back is just stretchy material. That works well if I have a need for the cold in the front, but not if it's all around and I need it in both places, which is often the case. I don't intend to use this for hot therapy, only cold. Otherwise, the material feels good and it does work well on the one side.

A Must Have in Any Household
I do not get too many headaches but when I do they are pretty bad sinus headaches. I was happy to get this product and hoped that it would help and it definitely does. Coincidentally, the day that I received the headache cap I got an awful sinus headache. It was so bad that I didn't even bother to heat or cool the wrap and just put it on. It was amazing. The wrap is naturally cool and while it didn't get rid of my headache completely, I felt a lot of relief. It should be noted that I am a 5'2 female with what I think is an average sized head. The wrap fit well. I think if your head is on the larger side this might be tight - but then again that might really help your headache!

It helped
I've suffered from migraines for over 30 years now and, for the most part, I can just tough it out and deal with it. Occasionally, I still get a migraine that knocks me down for a day. Unfortunately, I've also passed them on to my teen daughter. When I first saw this cap, I thought it was a great idea and why not try it? Just the other day, I saw my daughter lying on her bed with her head covered by a pillow - she had a migraine and was trying to block the light. I went and got the migraine cap for her and it helped!!! She wore it for about 15 minutes and said the combination of blocking the light, the cooling effect of the gel, and the gentle compression of the cap itself was soothing. I will definitely be reaching for this myself the next time a bad migraine comes on.

Helps relieve my migraines and cluster headaches
When I get migraines it is bad. Turn the lights off, naseau, pressure behind the eyes bad. This migraine cap really helps sooth the pain between when I get a migraine and when my medication kicks in. The hot and cold therapy feature provides much needed relief during a migraine attack. For me, the hot seems to work better than the cold. The cap is relatively easy to put on and fits comfortably on my head. It's snug, but that actually feels good. So far so good for me. ALso ,it doesn't smell, which I know it weird thing to say but when you have a migraine you want things to be as neutral as possible

Fantastic Cooling Comfort
I love the migraine relief cap. When your head hurts, sometimes you just want something cool to help make the pain go away and this item works. Unlike some other headwraps, this one only has the cooling gel on the front which makes it easier to put on and more comfortable to lay down in. The item gets and stays cool for a nice while and feels nice on the skin. Most of the time I don't even bother to put it in the fridge as it is just naturally and comfortably cool to the touch. If you suffer from headaches, this is a great tool to help manage your pain.
