The sword that arrived is not the sword in the photo. It's a gladiator style sword not a King Arthur style one, which matters to a four year old with a Knights fixation! It also had no belt loop so there is no way of attaching it to his belt. That said, after his initial disappointment, he's playing with it now.

I brought this as a present for a friend's 7 year old- he enjoyed playing with. Now I need to buy another for my 22 year old History graduate brother because he liked it so much too!

Basic, cheap plastic sword. My 7yr old loves it and it has lasted over a month of play fights.

Good looking and fun but a little flimsy
This is a great sword and scabbard and perfect for budding knights. However the sword is a little flimsy and would not take too much whacking (this may be a good thing!). Perfect for fancy dress though.

It was scratched up and looked like it had been used. Very disappointed. Gave it to Value Village.
