Decal Mods 2018-2020 F150 Tailgate (Thin) Decals Stickers (Thin Decals NOT Raised Letters) Letters Kit Insert Indent for Ford F150 (2018-2020) (USA Flag) | FG2A1

I attempted to install these on a 2020 F-150 XLT Supercrew. The lettering on the tailgate of a metalliac black truck was white. I got these in matte black to cover up that lettering. While the fit the indentation of where the lettering is, they do not adequately cover the the painted white letters. It would take alot of trimming and effort to make these fit with the same amount of white border showing through. Amazon returned them without issue. They are good quality and easy to install with windex if your letters are not painted a different color than your tailgate like mine

This vinyl kit was easy to install. A couple squirts of windex and they slid right into place! It had several extra decals but haven’t needed to use them. So far, car wash, hand wash, driving in torrential downpours and quite frosty mornings. If this is the look you’re after, I would recommend it for sure.

Honestly have nothing bad to say about this sticker. It fits my 2019 f-150. I will say the adhesion holds against 1100-1200 psi pressure washer which was the only thing I was worried about. Time will tell how long it holds.

I put mine on. Tried the "F" with the dry method. Very hard to handle without stretching. I had to trim up one branch of the "F". Went to the wet method with Window Cleaner. Better, gives you a chance to refine alignment without stretching. Even with a freshly washed truck and using the wet, I still wound up with some small 'blips' that don't seem to be bubbles. We'll see if they disappear after a couple of days in the sun. Also, I have to wonder if the wet method effects long term adhesion.Overall they look good. The "F" and the "5" are hard to handle. Maybe start with the "1" and the "0" to get some feel. Would be nice if the backing was scored to let you get a reference start before losing all backing control where the letters collapse (flop on themselves). That would bring it up to a 5-star.Take your time, use the wet method, the results are the pop we are looking for.

The decal was easy to install using soapy water. Looks great but time will tell how well it holds up.
