I had the same issue as so many others reviewing this item. The ties are fine but the tool is complete junk! It did not last very long before it failed.

Arrived ontime and in good condition. The tool is in good working order and the site ties are of g his quality.

I use this product to make rustic furnature. It is a fast and efficient method to tie the wood pieces together.

The ties work great, however the twist wrench twisted 10 ties then totally failed. The twist wrench wouldn’t twist anymore. So I removed the rubber cover and disassembled the wrench and removed the hook and rod and placed it in my cordless drill. Worked great and finished the job…. Unbelievable pieces of junk!

I connected two and used them to hold chain linked fence onto posts where my dogs had pulled it off. The twisting is so effective and fun and easy! I love great design! I plan to use it to make Christmas garlands next!

You are better off going to a local box store and getting a rebar tier and ties.I’m hesitant to purchase any off amazon since they all look the same and it’s hard to take back in 30 days sometimes. I didn’t even use mine till after the 30 days was up.The tool died in 20 ties, it was getting stuck right off the bat every couple pulls. The rebar ties are made out of some inferior metal. They are 1/2 the strength of the ones sold at Home Depot. I seen the reviews complaining about the ties but I thought it was maybe just the colored ties so I purchased the black ones. Nope same crappy metal just a different color.Stay away… You get what you pay for on this one!

Putting in a slab in a post frame building. Needed lots of ties for rebar and the tool was a bonus. The tool lasted 10 ties before something inside went "pop" and it would no longer twist when pulled. Needless to say, not impressed.
