This was very easy to install. You have the options of different shades of white using the remote, it remembers the last setting when you turn it off by the light switch so you don't have to use the remote all the time. The only negative about this light is that if the lights go out you will have to replace the whole fixture. This was actually a replacement fixture we purchased, it may have been the same company under a different name, they were they exact same light. The previous light lasted 2 years. In my opinion, LED lights do not last nearly as long as they are supposed to.

Really nice lights and great value. Easy to install. Only complaint is that they dim to about 10% of max - wish it could dim more for movie night.

As previously mentioned, I like the product. However, for a few cents, you could make it better by adding a cardboard template of the cutouts that would reduce the install time probably by 30 or 40 percent. This would allow the installer to place the screws in the ceiling in advance, making the mounting so much easier to line up vs trying to hold the unit in place while attempting to secure the screws. A piece of thin cardboard cut out for the wires and screws on either side would get you five stars from every purchaser. I created my own template, and it took me less than 3 minutes with a pair of scissors. In addition, just add one extra bolt for the lens holder. It can't cost more than ten cents or so to accomplish this. Those bolts are so small that if you drop one, they just seem to disappear.Other than these suggestions, the product is really nice. The design is very modern and the options for controlling the brightness of the light is fantastic.

Easy to install. Nice and bright!

I wanted a big dimmable light for a family room that worked well with my lutron caseta dimmer. After trying a larger 32" oval light, which people mentioned worked with my dimmer, I found it buzzed very loudly from all around the room, even on full. This 18" light is smaller but still very bright, uses standard mounting, and is much quieter. I do hear a slight buzz directly under it 2 feet away, and when dimmed I can faintly hear it when the room is dead quiet and I really strain to hear it, I'm very happy with it's performance on the dimmer, especially since dimmer compatibility these are so hit and miss. The color temperature switch is a nice feature as well

Great lighting but difficult to install and so flimsy and cheap. Once up it’s hard to tell it’s cheap!
