This year we did these big eggs for the older kids instead of egg hunting and they loved them!

They were nice size for stuffing...even put a couple outfits with candy inside...only problem...even closing the lids shut till you heard the snap...some kept opening up...but all in all they were ok.

My children are almost 10 and 11 1/2, still believe in the Easter Bunny, but I limit how much candy I let them have, so I usually get them toy type items for Easter instead of candy. This year we are traveling and will be with friends out of state so I decided to use these Easter eggs and put a little candy and come gift cards in for gaming and they are perfect. The eggs are made of a good durable plastic, super bright and colorful and decent in size. I filled them with some paper grass, some candy kisses, lollipops, a small chocolate rabbit and a couple gifts cards for gaming - I think they will love them!! The edges where the eggs connect were smooth and went together easily and seem to seal tight. I gave these Easter eggs a rating of 5 stars, although I only needed 2, they come in a pack of 8 for $27, so if you do the math they are less than $3.50 each. I recommend these plastic Easter eggs and they are a great alternative to a Easter basket.

These large eggs can definitely hold all of the good stuff like stuffed animals and treats. However, I ordered them to use as outdoor decorations hanging from my trees. They worked perfectly!

This review is for the SHEMIRA 10" Jumbo Plastic Easter Eggs (8 eggs/count/pieces). I received a free taxable sample of these jumbo plastic Easter eggs to review in my search for items I could use to put together giftable Easter baskets/bags.The eggs arrived in a large and decorated box with the all-caps words "JUMBO EASTER EGGS" and an image of a bunny peeking from behind a group of enormous Easter eggs on front. That should have been my first clue as to just how big these plastic Easter eggs are. Two of the sides have the words "Happy Easter" and similar imagery whereas the bottom of the box has manufacturing information in a very large font that includes manufacturing address, date of production, country of origin, batch, and model number. It's interesting to note that this is the same manufacturer but different brand as another set of 10" jumbo plastic Easter eggs.Inside the box were the top and bottom pieces for the plastic eggs separated into two stacks. There are eight different colors (pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, violet, red) of jumbo eggs in this set with each shade being very close to what you'd find on a photography color card. Each egg has a flat base approximately 4" in diameter before widening out to a diameter of 6 1/2" at the join between sections and then tapering to a rounded point at the top of the egg. The combined weight of both egg sections is 155 grams, and the vertical height is an impressive 10". A quick test of individual eggs capacity resulted in one being able to hold 17 of the 3 1/4" plastic eggs. Each egg was also able to separately handle each of the 10" stuffed animals used for testing (the 12" stuffed animal was a no go due to length and the fact that it was significantly plumper than the 10" stuffed animals).All of the eggs are made out of a solidly colored reflective plastic with a thickness a bit thicker than a sand playset bucket and closer in thickness to a standard bucket you'd purchase at the home improvement store. The end result is that these jumbo plastic eggs are durable, which is especially important as the size, shape, and color of these eggs proved to be irresistible as play items to the younger testers. That being said, the purple egg did develop a stress break between the two drain holes at the base, possibly when flexing the egg to open it. Besides serving as play items, you can also use these eggs as standalone containers/baskets or part of a larger basket or bag. Laying the assembled eggs out, I'm even tempted to use these as seasonal decorations or as centerpieces at an Easter gathering.Overall, these eight SHEMIRA 10" jumbo plastic Easter eggs are impressive. I recommend them as suitable for use as Easter baskets/bags, part of a larger basket/bag, and seasonal Easter decorations.
