Meh...
Some of the cards are misleading for toddler children in the US. For example, the biscuit looks like a chocolate chip cookie. The boat is said to be a steamer, and my outspoken grandbaby was not having it so I have had to pull a few out of the deck to keep her from arguing With the toy. We have not gotten all the way through the deck. I am curious to see what else we find the deck definitely needs to be edited. The ABC song is not traditional, and was very confusing to her.

Both sides don’t work
It’s a nice learning toy but some of the words are rather advanced for a toddler. When I flip the card, it doesn’t read correctly so it essentially only reads one side of the flash card. Not sure if mine is defective or what. And there are no special instructions for flipping the card.

Not suggested for children under 5 who have ASD
Likes: It is small enough that it fits nicely into littles hands. It is colorful and it talks. Actually it reads the cards that the child slips down into the card slot. It is electronic and I consider it more of a learning toy. There are alot of cards that come with the device so its a good value.Dislikes: For children under 5 I recommend parent supervision and participation. I could wish that the cards were made a bit more sturdy to prevent severe damage when the child is trying to put in or take out a card roughly, or tries to crumple it instead of being nice with it so it can continue to be used in the device as the reader info is located on the bottom edge of the card. I had hoped that there were more cards for letter sounds and letter identification than trying to teach them sight words that are 3 levels above them.

Cute, good learning toy.
Good learning toy. Not one to hand a toddler and walk away from. This needs supervision. Lots of cards that are easy to bend and lose. If used properly, and with patience, it is an excellent teaching tool for learning to sound out and learn words. Good coupon on Amazon right now makes it extra affordable.

Cute but, obviously words were not translated by an AMERICAN English speaker
Its a cute toy. We had hoped it might be helpful for my granddaughter who is on the spectrum and mostly nonverbal. At least for her, it's really not. Several of the foods are not items the average American toddler would even be familiar with (looking at you durian fruit) a few things I recognized but by different names. I think some of the items also were labeled with British English names. Not all but a few. It IS a fun toy though and it does work easily. Just for us, it's not useful as an educational toy.

Fun Gadget
I thought this would be a fun way to help my 5 year old better her spelling. For the most part it is really neat! She loves changing out the cards and its the perfect little size. Only negative is some of the words don't completely match the word.
