Works perfect since I bought it!!!! It's been 2 years!!

I recently moved to an ( in my opinion ) incredibly humid client from California as I had no real life idea of how even the humidity level was in comparison to other places. Meaning visiting humid clients gives you real no real respect for having to live in high humidity.As I actually like humidity OUT SIDE! As being stuck in doors with sticky heavy air is disgusting. As I've always hated moist from the shower permeating the house. YUCK. However. That typically is fixed by an open window and fan but not in high humid states, opening the window has been haunting 😩😩I worried if this little cheap machine could help us. As I clearly didn't have a big budget and struggled with my California ignorance over just simply buying a big fan or taking a $80 plung on a maybe machine. After reading reviews I TOOK THE PLUNGE as I was fed up of being uncomfortable in my own home.My God I'm glad I did. I had to wait a whole 7 days for delivery as that sucked. I though a few times to order 2 machines that got tome faster However they all mostly understand the competitions delivery time so they don't compete. Anyway my intuition told me to stick with this one and I'm so glad I did....I set it up right and waited that long 24 hours for it to settle when it was delivered and I literally believe within about 8 to 24 hours my heavy air humidity issues in My 1000 sq ft Apt was SOLVED! As prior to having it, it was getting uber cold but because it was such high humidity running the heater just made it wetter in here....I no longer smell the threat of mold, I sleep much more comfortable, dry, and warm. It hands all 5 rooms. I keep it near the bathroom door to help mitigate the bathroom steam. And having to dump the water try, is literally barely a bother. At most on high humidity winter days of 80% humidity I will dump it twice, at 60% ones a day, at 40% maybe ever few days.When it comes to making a decision of comfort and even safety as mold is non negotiable in doors. BUY IT. The noise level sounds like a fan on the lowest speed. The learning curve is 15 minutes. It's virtually a plug and play. I expect this to last for a while unless the parts just aren't quality. However I appreciate that it has definitely reduced the mental trauma incurred learning how to navigate living in heavy humidity...LIFE SAVER MACHINE 🙌🏽

Our package came in yesterday. Well taken care of during the shipping process. Amazon has amazing delivery drivers. (Big thank you for their hardwork and dedication.) We let the dehumidifier sit for the recommended 24 hours to settle. Set up for operation was easy to use. After an hour we checked the water bin, good amount had started to accumulated. Very impressive for only having it running for about the hour. So far very wonderful product with impressive results.

This dehumidifier, unlike some of the smaller ones I've used in the past, successfully regulates the amount of humidity throughout my whole house. It works diligently to keep excess moisture away, preventing the formation of mould and mildew and ensuring the air feels crisp and fresh at all levels of the building, from the basement all the way up to the top floor. The water tank has a capacity of 0.528 gallons, which is sufficient for collecting substantial quantities of moisture. Additionally, the automatic drainage function works faultlessly whenever the water tank reaches its maximum capacity. Because of this function, I don't have to worry about things as much, particularly when I'm gone for long stretches of time. In addition, I was able to set up continuous drainage for uninterrupted operation thanks to the drain line that was provided for me. This is a really considerate feature. The auto-defrost feature of this dehumidifier is just another feature that sets it apart from the competition. During the winter months, I noted that several other models had trouble with frost buildup, which contributed to a reduction in their overall effectiveness. However, the auto defrost function of this appliance enables maximum performance even in frigid temperatures, ensuring that moisture removal is maintained at a constant level throughout the whole year.

It couldn't handle a 650 sq ft (60 m2) small cabin, let alone the advertised 2500 sq ft it's advertised for.I let it rest upright and unplugged since I received it in April 3rd afternoon (paying 40 bucks for shipping) until April 5th morning, so well over the suggested 24 hours. Yet, in more than 5 days of constant running at full speed and the drain hose running to a drainage pipe lowe than the unit, it's never managed to lower humidity below 58%.I'm not gonna blame it on the unit being made in China because I have some really good quality appliances from there that work flawlessly as advertised, some times even better. It must be that something's wrong with this particular unit. I've contacted the manufacturer support and hope they can provide a solution soon, otherwise I will have to buy a different brand and return this one.

Ok, I waited to write this review to see how this thing functioned. We are living in a 5th-wheel trailer while we build a house. We live in the Pacific Northwest of Washington, on a peninsula, and we have 2 seasons here... august and rain. Our trailer was musty, damp, and cold. I purchased this hoping it would help, and it has been excellent. We have run it nonstop since November. We were emptying the holding tank 2x a day, but my husband piped it into the plumbing, so no more emptying.I am very impressed with the efficiency of this thing and had no idea how much moisture was in the air. Our walls no longer "sweat". It is quiet and sounds like a box fan on low running. So it has the added bonus of being "white noise." I love this small little dehumidifier. It sits on the built-in dresser in the bedroom and doesn't take up a great deal of space—cudos to the manufacturer for making such a great product.
