Really really good coffee 👌🏼
The "notes of hazelnut + dark chocolate" first attracted me to this coffee and I also liked that it was a medium roast. True to their word, the coffee tastes absolutely great and has enough bold flavour packed in without being too strong or bitter. It's so smooth and silky, works great in my aero press or the cafetiere. Will be my go-to brand from now on!!!

Very nice coffee, but too pricey to make it a regular purchase

Great coffee for price
I prefer a darkish roast and this coffee fits the bill. Smells chocolatey in the packet. Very enjoyable.

It's ok but not amazing
I really wanted a nice strongish organic coffee and I thought I'd try this one.For every other coffee I've used you need one spoon(7g) of coffee per cup but this one you need two. It's ok tasting but I won't be buying again.

Like macdonalds
Very, very, very similar to McDonald’s but do not put too much coffee in your French press that’s what I use anyway because then it will not taste the same. I use one scoop and a quarter scoopIt is trial and error, really. But it is really nice coffee.

Nice Coffee
I tend to purchase this type of coffee as something of a luxury item. I bought this one on a whim based on a recommendation (on Amazon) and also finding the brand name quite amusing. It's a grand coffee indeed although a tiny touch bitter for my tastes, so this is a very subjective comment. I would recommend giving it a try though ..... it is a good coffee

Customer service was outstanding when I had questions about the product.
Grumpy Mule coffees are suitable for use in a wide range of brewing equipment. For Espresso machines, finely grind your beans or choose espresso grind for best results. Use 2 heaped dessertspoonfuls (those big ones your mum only had out for special occasions) of fresh, ground coffee per cup. If you want to be a nerd about it that's 15g per 250ml of water. Espresso heads, a good double dose for our coffee is 14-18g per double shot with an extraction time of about 27 seconds. Just don't count mississipily (watch friends, it'll make sense). Allow heated water to come off the boil (about 93-95°C) before pouring. It's just enough time to tweet a pic of the pack at a jaunty angle. Serve the coffee immediately once brewed.
Safety Warning
Once open, squeeze out the air, seal the bag tightly and use within 2 weeks.
