Works perfectly fine and does exactly what I need it to! I ended up buying one and returning it because it would allow me to use my mouse, but would not charge my iPad simultaneously. I thought it was defective, but it turns out you need to have your charger plugged into a charging block that is 2.4A or higher! Just wanted to share in case anyone else had/has this issue!

Feels high quality. Client needed help setting up an external backup drive on their iPad, the one she purchased didn't work. I built an Nvme SSD drive and copied her photos over to the new SSD. This one worked perfectly. Lets you charge at the same time. SSD showed up in the iPad Files app perfectly. To access the drive you do need to have the adapter plugged in with your usb C charging cable, but that's fine as it is charging at the same time. Tested the HDMI port from iPad to monitor and it should up as a second screen for the iPad, so great option to run it as a mobile computer / tablet. You could aslo plug it into a TV to show content, play games etc. The SSD drive I made can be plugged directly into the USB C port on the iPad, so that is an option if you don't want to charge and your backup drive doesn't pull a ton of power.

Works well with Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra >> HDMI cable external monitor & >> USB-A Logitech unifying dongle running Logitech K400r combination keyboard/mousepad. YouTube video showed how to use this as a way to workaround a non-functioning display of a Samsung Galaxy S phone (or others that support HDMI video output). I can use it with Dex & Link to Windows. I'd also be able to use it to output to my big Samsung TV, etc. It comes with an additional USB-c male > USB-c female adapter. On the little bag that doohickey comes in is written, "THX! It's max 10Gbps allow USB C port to connect USB devices or accessories" I don't yet know what that does exactly. Perhaps the adapter's USB-c port is only for charging, unless this doohickey is plugged into that port.?

I used this to connect my monitor my Macbook with an HDMI cable. Every few minutes the screen goes black for a few seconds. It's super annoying. My USB keyboard also cuts out randomly, and I have to disconnect and reconnect the entire adaptor. I've only used it a few times, and confirmed it's not the HDMI cable by using the cable with a different connector to the same laptop. I confirmed it's not my monitor by connecting the monitor to the laptop a different way. Plus it happens with multiple laptops using this same adaptor, so it's definitely the adaptor. I've had several of these adaptors from other sellers that worked just fine, and I definitely won't be buying this brand again.

Just a note to others buying adapter. The adapter worked fine but if you have a case and protective covering over the iPad, you will have problems at times and think it’s the adapter. I called Apple support and we realized the protective case over the pad prevented the USB adapter plugging into the iPad to not fully 100% connect and so it kept cutting in and out, even though it felt like it was in, but when I took the covering off and then plugged it in, it worked 100%. Sometimes those mass production safety covers are just a hair length off to prevent the plug from going 100% in and making contact

The product unexpectedly included an additional item that proved to be quite useful: a USB A to C adapter. I use a Nacon arcade stick for PlayStation, which has a USB A connection. By utilizing this adapter, I can connect it directly to my MacBook or Motorola smartphone. Although the advertisement states that the adapter is not compatible with Motorola devices, I have tested it with my Motorola Edge model and can confirm that it works well. However, I cannot provide information about its compatibility with other Motorola models. Size design is right. It does charge my device when using the hdmi.
