WHITE SPRING LOADED TENSION ROD 122-183cm (48-72") - Curtains At Home

The rod arrived in a very sturdy cardboard tube and was in perfect condition. It was very lightweight but I only wanted it for a voile as our neighbours opposite have just installed a ring doorbell which points at our living room and I didn't fancy being watched. My window is 70 inches wide and I bought one long enough not to be at full stretch so there would be plenty of overlap within the rod when extended. There is a slight bow, less than 1cm, in the centre. If you were hanging something heavier, there would be nothing stopping you adding a hook in the centre of the window reveal to support it.Having said all that, we've had the windows open and the voile flapping in the wind and the rod has stayed put just fine. All in all, very happy with the product.

this is good value, and perfect for hanging a light curtain eg a fly screen.I have had no problems with it staying put, even when my dog charges through.Good product.

Used this to hang a sheet as a blackout blind on a rather large window. It does stay put, and to be honest I didn't expect it to stay put as long as it has. Mildly impressed.

Arrived earlier than expected which is good didn’t look like it would do the job but to my amazement it has done the job intended for it wanted to put nets on my double patio doors and to be honest expected it to be on the floor by tea time but it is still in place and doesn’t appear to be going anywhere wouldn’t hold anything heavier than nets but although it doesn’t seem very robust it keeps the nets in place so what more could I ask and as it’s only for the summer months it was good value and is fairly thin so doesn’t look too intrusive all in all I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend for light object use

Excellent... where have these tension rods been all of my life?!? Finally, I took the plunge and bought one, and oh wow I am so pleased. Enough of those plastic curtain wires with eye hooks that get stuck through your net curtains each time you want to go and wash them, or become loose in the centre/ or worst snap....these spring rods are great. I bought two of them in two different sizes and they look great holding up my net curtains. They were very simple to fit also. Would never go back to the plastic wire ones with the metal hooks. Great value, in terms of needing it the next day also etc. (But beware the packaging it arrived in was ridiculous!!) A huge box (2metres by 3metres) for one curtain rod really was not necessary and Amazon should review their packaging policy. It took longer to dissemble and cut the outer cardboard packaging to fit into my recycle box, than it did to put the curtain pole up - One star knocked down for this.

Good - It does the job

These are thicker and more stable than previous ones I have had. The plastic cap comes off to make it easier to slide the curtain on. It is easy to adjust the length. There is no bending in the middle when up unlike a cheaper version.
