Nice and Bright
We needed a light at our carport. After days of research, I decided to give this one a try. I was not disappointed. And I love the fact that you can choose different brightnesses, as well as motion detection. We leave ours on motion, so it is always on, but only at 30% until there is movement, then it comes on at 100%.

I've had two of these shipped to me in the last two weeks. Neither one has worked
I've had two of these shipped to me in the last two weeks. Neither one has worked. When I got the first one unboxed, there was something heavy internally moving around which I knew right away couldn't be good. I set the light outside to get full sun exposure and when I tried to turn it on at night there was nothing at all. I removed the clips on the solar panel and found that the battery pack had come unglued and broke the wiring connections. I returned it and ordered a replacement. The replacement came in yesterday so I sat it out again to charge up all day today. I went to turn it on and it wouldn't lite up at all. I tried holding the main button down for 3-5 seconds and nothing. The remote doesn't work either I'm guessing because no lights light up on it when I push the buttons. I'm having to send this one back too. Not happy at all.

10/10
The motion detection is very easy to trigger, which could either be a good or bad thing depending on how you see it. However I really do like the change in brightness. Plus the solar charging feature is incredibly useful. This light lasts for quite a while and is definitely waterproof. The timer and remote is super handy and the overall brightness + range is nothing to laugh at.

I really like the idea of a "street lamp" with a remote.
Solar powered anything is awesome :-DSo, having a very bright outdoor light that runs on the sun is pretty cool.I also like having a remote to easily change settings, and installation wasn't very hard at all.I'm a tiny bit concerned about longevity, but overall I'd say it appears to be well-made, and should hopefully last a long time.

Not your average solar lamp
I'm a big fan of solar powered lights. I have had battery powered motion sensing lights around my house for years, which can get expensive when purchasing large D batteries all the time, to keep the lights working year round. So, solar powered lights are an interesting option. This particular solar powered lamp is pretty heavy duty. It has a tremendous light output, and is substantially large in size. Its dimensions are measured in feet, just to give you an idea. I think if you live in rural communities, and have a large area of land that you want to illuminate, for safety, or whatever other reason, this is a wonderful option for you. Certainly, you can go the direction of overkill, and mount it in your backyard, like I did. It goes without saying, having good exposure to the sun during the daytime for the solar panel, is imperative to the success of this light. I think I found a pretty decent location for it, and it has been performing extremely well so far. I do like that it can be controlled by remote, so that you can set it for different intervals of time, as well as brightness. So, it's nice to not have to get the ladder out to make those adjustments. However, the remote is barely comprehendible, and frankly, I still don't think I fully understand how to use the darn thing. The instructions are not very helpful either, for that matter. That aspect can be frustrating. As far as the lamp is concerned, it is plenty powerful. I'm not sure that it's the best lamp for me, in my suburban dwelling, but not only does it work for me, it can illuminate a very large area for people who have a lot of land to cover. Time will tell how well it resists the weather, but my initial impressions are pretty good from a functionality standpoint, and frustrated from the standpoint of the remote. All in all, I'd say it's a well built lamp, and an excellent option to cover a lot of land for security, and safety.

Cheap Construction
Bought 2 of these lights and none of them works.

Very large with a great light span. Light weight and easy to install.
400W Solar Street Lights Outdoor - 80000LM Solar Parking Lot Lights Commercial Dusk to Dawn, IP67 Waterproof 6500K LED Street Lights Solar Powered with Motion Sensor for Street, Garden, GarageThis is a very large solar light that we put over our garage. It came fully charged and almost blinded me when I turned it on. Thrilled to see that much light coming from the panels. Comes with a remote control that offers various options. It can be timed for dusk to dawn display and is waterproof. It took about 5 hours to charge and had a wide area it covered over the driveway at night when it turned on. It comes with a mounting bracket that's easy to install. The light is relatively light which we appreciated because we've had to install one in our backyard before that was heavy and took us a few hours to mount because of it's weight. Also the remote on this one is much better quality and the directions are well written and easy to follow. The light lasted roughly 3 days with no sun shining on it and continuous snow. Would highly recommend this.

Great solar light for security or to light an area inside or out
Pros: Bright, has mounting hardware, has remote, day/night auto on/off, solar panel to recharge the battery which gives light for many hours.Cons: Not metal housing material which should be for the price point. Can't change colour temperature. The FAISHILAN outdoor waterproof LED lamp is a terrific solar charged light that provides a great amount of light using its built in battery and the solar panel to recharge it.The light is easy to install and comes with hardware. Make sure whatever you screw it into is able to take the weight considering how much weight it is and winds pushing in it.The build is ok but not as study as a full metal housed lamp as this is mostly plastic. This light has a pole to attach to which attaches to another pole or surface and is very sturdy. There is a photo sensor that allows the light to come on when dark and off when light outside. The light is very bright and able to light a many square metres below the light in bright enough light to clearly see print in a book. The higher you place it the less light closer to the ground and at about 4 metres (12 feet) above the ground it still provides ample bright light. You can definitely place it much higher and light a larger area in lesser intense light. This device is great for outside of a home, cabin, shed/garage or can be put up temporarily on a pole or other temporary setup and brought for camping or sport events. The included remote control is great as it allows you to change brightness and other settings like timed lighting.

Very bright solar light covering large area of you can mount it high above the ground
The solar light doesn't feel premium based on the price as what I did expected. The functionality is there and does a great job in lighting up a large area using motion or dusk or control by remote. The angle metal pole is strong and secure. I haven't mount this to a pole until summer comes around so I tested within the house about 7 foot above the main floor. With this large solar panel, securing this with enough sunlight will give you enough juice to lighten up the evening. Price is costly on this unit.

Bright
Solar street light works well , seems to hold a good charge even on cloudy days. Was easy to install , comes with all hardware needed. My only complaint would be the materials used could be of higher quality for the price.

Very bright with very large solar panel
The media could not be loaded. I tested this out and it’s VERY bright, but it does have brightness settings that can be adjusted with the remote controller. You wouldn’t want to shine this in the direction of a neighbour’s home, without checking with them first. But to really brighten up a dark space it’s awesome! One of the three light covers was off when it arrived, but it snapped back into place easily and doesn’t feel like it will come loose again. Also, the sticker where the sensor button is, to turn it on, is coming a little loose in the corners. The metal mounting arm is heavy duty and strong. The solar panel is huge, so I don’t think there will be any issues keeping it charged, even in winter.I haven’t actually hung it yet, because I want to place it near the top peak of our very tall house, to shine down on our driveway, and I’m too chicken to climb up there so I’ll need to hire someone. But I’m very happy with the quality and the brightness and look forward to getting it hung up!

Affordable solar powered street light that works well enough, but it is not without concerns
This is an affordable solar powered street light that works well enough, but it is not without concerns. It's hard to fault a unique product like this at this price point, but the attention to detail and quality are lacking.I mounted it at the peak of my cottage carport with noon and sunset giving the panel the peak solar action. I'm expecting this to work well for years, and it nicely illuminates by cottage driveway when I drive up. I only intend to use it with the motion sensor, because of course I'm not up all the time. Additionally I have a security camera pointed at the carport/driveway, and the lighting will help with capturing better video at night. I only had 1 night with it so far (weather hasn't been great for cottaging) but it lit the area up sufficiently at 50%. I don't want it on all the time anyways, it would attract bugs. Unfortunately my pics from the cottage didn't turn out well, but it looks good mounted in my case. This being said, it came shipped not completely assembled from the factory. One of the light columns was not attached out of the box. It wasn't broken. It clicked into place fine, and to me it couldn't have shaken out because the plastic cover has tabs that weren't broken and once click in clearly never would come out without breaking unless you used a screw driver. It just wasn't assembled completely before shipping out.Next the remote and instructions are seriously lacking. I can guess what the instructions means in many cases, but it's not hard to get someone to proof read or at least use a spell checker. I'm not nitpicking. The person that believed these instructions were good quality enough isn't in a position to recognize if a random customer on the internet would be able to use the product properly. The remote doesn't match the image and buttons were reused during assembly. I have 2 On/Off buttons. I just can't explain what could have happened here. The unit itself cannot be charged without solar exposure. You can't plug in a USB charger to top it up before mounting it, so make sure you have absolutely suitable placement and exposure if you don't intend to let it sit for a day in direct sunlight. The claimed charing time if 6-8 hours under full sun, which is a lot to ask for in a climate like Canada where our shortest day can be 6.5 hours of day light, and we can have a week or more of over cast days. I consider this to be a worst case scenario though, but it's not like the instructions provide any obvious guidance here. So unless you need the brightest setting, select the 25% brightness with motion detection to start. The instructions to press the Red button on the unit to turn it on/off manually doesn't make sense to me. If you press it once a red light turns on (I assume it's on) and you can use the remote. If you press it again the red light goes off and the remote doesn't work. I don't know if there's extra functionality by long pressing, but it doesn't appear to do anything.Mounting is straight forward, but the included arm is made of very light painted steel. You can see the arm welds bumping through the bracket. I would not be surprised if some strong wind or heavy snow would bend this once the large light/panel is mounted.Placement is pretty key here and honestly you're not going to get any solar powering if you mount it against a wall. The routing arm is on an angle, so the panel will be tilting towards the wall. This unit should really only be used in a situation where the panel is not obstructed behind it, like on a pole or at the peak of a building/roof. There are other models with the panel tilted in the opposite direction if that's your situation.Speaking of panel direction, because the panel is directly mounted to the light (I like that there's a unit light this) it means you have to be very aware of sun light direction and the direction you intend to shine the night light. You can easily end up in a situation where your unit isn't getting charged enough.Which brings me to the lack of battery level reporting. There is, from what I can tell, no way to know what the battery level is at. You can't tell if it's charged at dusk, and in the morning, to see how much juice is left. You won't know if it has zero hope of working at night because the battery is low and your placement is poor. It'll be frustrating if you end up in a situation where it hasn't been working at night for a month and you don't find out until that one time you needed the light. If the manufacturer took the time to polish some of these pretty obvious short comings, and make sure placement of the unit is a key guiding point, I could rate this much higher, but at $300 I don't expect to guess how to use the remote, what level the battery is at, a method to charge it via external source (if it'll last a week in the Winter then barely work, I want to be able to boost it occasionally), and a remote I won't need to remember how to use (if needed).
