So satisfied . Previously I had purchased the highly rated + one ..... again and again. It kept breaking down after varying lengths of time. I was influenced by the reviews and it worked great at first. This one was cheaper. Worked just as well out of the box and has already worked longer than the last Plus guy I had. I am hoping its simplicity (in comparison) will give it the longest life.

After about 6 weeks of use, this replacement power supply overcharged my battery and fried my HP ProBook. Had I not been within 20 feet of it and been able to quickly get it out of the house within 1 minute, it is likely my home would have caught fire with me in it. As it was, the smoke and soot it spewed set off my alarm and the fire and police departments both responded but had to do little other than take pictures and file a report. The wife and I had significant interior cleaning to do to remove the soot from carpets, curtains, blinds, and furnishings. Should have known this power supply was junk in that it emitted tons of radio frequency interference the moment it was plugged in even if not connected to laptop. Buy at your own risk!
