I'm not sure why this gum is getting so many negative reviews as of late, I've been using this gum for a while now, even before they changed the name and packaging, and honestly I'm not sure if they changed the recipe at all, but to me the gum tastes even better than before, and I already liked it a lot before.The only issue I had with the gum in the past was it seemed to break apart really easily when chewing so instead of staying in one nice piece while chewing it would break apart sometimes and that was a bit annoying, but the last several bags I've purchased do not do that, and the flavor seems more intense (in a pleasing way) than before.I'd highly recommend this gum if you're trying to avoid both sugar and ultra toxic aspartame. It is unfortunate that healthy gum has to cost so much more than the alternative, but I'm willing to spend a bit extra for that. Although the price per piece of gum isn't exorbitantly more expensive, I do find that I have to typically use 2-3 pieces of this gum to get a piece to chew that feels significant enough, but that's just my personal preference, and I still think it is great gum.

I love that there is an aspartame and dye free option for gum now! The spearmint flavor of Joyride was great so I thought I’d try the peppermint flavor. Definitely not as good. It’s still better than filling my body and brain with harmful chemicals the other gums on the market have. Thank you for a cleaner and healthier choice Joyride!

i am writing this review in hopes that Joyride will change their mind and continue making this gum. the flavors are amazing. it lasts longer than i can actually chew it before my jaw starts to hurt. it has clean ingredients. to say i am bummed that they have discontinued this gum, is an understatement. now i have to go back to square one and try to figure out a clean gum i like as much as this.

No matter how carefully I open a new pack, the stay-fresh zip seal often detaches from the inside wall, making it impossible to reseal. It’s a small issue, but it takes away from an otherwise great product.”

Nor is it the same as the Project 7 gum it's replacing. The flavor is great, actually! I really like the way it tastes and the consistency of it. I love that it doesn't use aspartame. I'll continue to chew it until I can find something that lasts longer.I just popped a couple pieces in my mouth less than 2 minutes ago and the flavor has weakened considerably.Chewing some of the Project 7 now and after a couple of minutes, it has weakened, but not as much as the Joyride. As a matter of fact, I still have a bit of flavor from it.The packaging states that it's the "Same great gum" but you can see in the photo that it is not the same anymore. The flavor isn't bad, but it's not the same either. Even now after chewing the Project 7 for a while, I still get a little bit of flavor. It was a nice try, but they can do better with the Joyride.

Taste is fresh and long lasting much longer than many other brands! Hope the spearmint comes back in stock soon!

I'm a big fan of Project 7 Everest peppermint chewing gum and this new gum Glacial Peppermint from Joyride is definitely not the same Project 7 Everest Peppermint. The new ones from Joyride are slightly larger and a bit softer which is good but sadly, the flavor does not last as long as the ones from project 7 and if you look at the ingredients, they have removed the peppermint oil from it (I've attached picture of both product ingredients). I'm sure that the new version also has peppermint oil but probably just a fraction of what the original Everest peppermint had which had a great flavor that lasted for a long time.Update 5/24/2023: I'm downgrading to 1 Star. I did my original review based on my first try of the new gum but the more I try it, the more I confirm the new brand/formula is inferior in any possible way to the original Project 7 Everest Peppermint gum, specially the very short lived flavor . I also read in the single 50 piece pack reviews the following review, not sure how they figured it was not natural gum, but if true, would be another big negative point for Joyride:"It’s not even close to Project 7 Naturally Crafted Chewing Gum Long Lasting Everest Peppermint! I don’t know what they are trying to pull, but I’m going to turn them in for mislabeling their so-called new label and brand. They said it was the same as Project 7 except for the new packaging and that’s just a BIG lie! They are using a synthetic gum base, whereas Project 7 used a natural gum base, huge difference!"
