Easy to set up and adjust the time length .... had no problems since install

Product faulty but the Supplier Refunded so I can applaud the Supplier but not the Switch itself. The Photo cell was defective and looking at the other reviews this is not an isolated issue. A Manufacturing issue which has not yet been resolved. Get it Together Timeguard!

Arrived quickly, easy to fit, works well, but if it's a dull day and the light comes on early, it will switch off early, and if you have lights on in the area where the sensor is, it will confuse the device and switch on again

easy to fit and simple use, not directly compatable with LED lamps, very limited adjustment on the dusk to dawn adjuster as I would like the light to come on earlier as darkness falls. Much easier to use than the ZV700 as no programming required, cheaper,but much less flexible.

I have had one of these products for many years and it turned the outside lights on as required when it got dark for a fixed period. The original switch stopped working after many years and I bought this as a replacement.It is not a replacement!! It does not work in the same way. The design has been changed for the worst.With the original design you could use it as a normal light switch or by simply pulling down a cover plate you could set it to come on for a fixed period when it got dark.This design is very poor, to set it to come on when it gets dark you have to undo a screw underneath, lift a cover plate causing the battery to fall out, then you have to get a small screwdriver and set the time you want it to be on and then replace the cover and the battery. Surely this is not a design improvement!!!

I loved our previous model. This one is so much more fiddly to use, comes on way too early, (2pm yesterday!!) with no way to adjust it further. So disappointing. Wish our previous one was still working.

I have just fitted the ZV210 and it worked when I tested it immediately after wiring it in. However, by the end of the first day, when it was getting dark, it failed to come on automatically. Still works as an on-off unit but that's not want I want (and certainly not at this price!). Eventually managed to speak to a technician at Timeguard's Help Line who helpfully told me it was fau.lty, that the photocell was broken, and I should return it to the company that sold it to me.I have ordered a replacement unit as I still want one. We shall see but at the moment - one star.The replacement has been received and fitted. We are now on day four and it is working as intended so I have amended the star rating to 5. So far - so good!

I have had 4 or more of these. Great units, easy to fit, yes - not good for low voltage lamps (will flicker). However, they all only lasted about 3 years. Also, they do not like power cuts and voltaage spikes. But, whilst working, I am satisfied.Update - I may have been hasty as the replacement I bought also failed due to prior blow out in both bulbs it supplies. I replaced the bulbs and the new unit works, so the old unit may still be OK this time. Nevertheless, my track record of about 3 year's life with these remains. For what they are they are great... and, now I may have a spare.
