The Pipishell 6 shelf bookshelf is a nice modern looking addition to a bedroom, living room, or office. The dark metal and wood components compliment any decor.The instructions were only pictures, but I did not have too much trouble figuring out how to put it together. The only exception was the back cross-cross pieces. The metal sides were not clear on which way to attach them, and I ended up with the posts backwards but did not want to dissemble it so I left it with only 1 cross bar.The shelves are heavy and have a short, raised edge to them. I found if books are not packed fairly tightly on the shelf, they tended to fall out the sides so it would have been nice to the edges a little taller.The drawer feature, while convenient for storing some items, is flimsy and did not fit the bottom shelf opening very well. Would have been better if it was the same wood as the shelves.Overall, this is a nice, heavy bookshelf and I would recommend it for a few books, maybe some photos, but really - light use only.Three and a half stars rounded up to four.

I love this shelf! It's got industrial vibes & is a perfect shelf to display plants & crystals. It was super easy to put together which is a big bonus. I was able to do it myself from unboxing to completely assembled in about 30-45 mins. Minus one star because the drawer is made of cloth & has a big white tag on the outside of it. I tried to cut it off but there's still a small white strip that I couldn't get off. Sticks out like a sore thumb! I'm gonna try to take a seam ripper to it. If the drawer had been made of the same wood material as the shelves, this would get 5 stars!

It seems like a complicated piece to build but it really isn't! You have to assemble each shelf, and each consists of four separate pieces of wood. There were three metal pieces that were not labeled and were way too similar. I ended up building it incorrectly and leaving it because I did not want to tear it all apart again. So mine does not have the criss cross of metal rods to help with stability. If they had been labeled, the instructions are easy to follow.

The media could not be loaded.  This made for a perfect drink station. You can literally keep all the shelves, remove a shelf, opt for an additional shelf instead of drawer, etc.It’s not made of the most durable material, but it works.

This is a very attractive bookshelf that does not appear cheap or imitation in any way -- until you get to the drawer. It is covered in black fabric and not in wood or wood like materials. The rest of the bookshelf is nice and appears to be heavy enough to carry much more load than we have on it. The wood slats are real wood, not covered in cheap vinyl adhesive paper. as I had feared. The instructions are minimal and mostly illustrations with little in writing/words. I do wish that the instructions were more comprehensive as there were some parts that I am not sure about and just have to hope I have right. Assembling this bookshelf is a big job and will take well over an hour. Be ready to devote an afternoon (or morning) unless you are super experienced in furniture assembly. It is best to be a two person job a it is big and complicated but the result is worth the effort. It is very nice that the shelves have backs and sides on them. So often that is not the case and things on the shelves slide or fall off.

Sturdy and easy to assemble!

Instructions were easy to follow and the box came with everything that you need to assemble. When put together, it's really sturdy and well made.
