Keeps them busy
Nice toy for travels and at home. The booklet helps. The cubes are very small for under 3s so have to be extremely careful.

Brings out their creative side
I got this learning resources STEM toy for my nephew who is 5 years old. He was super excited to receive this set. The toy comes in a very presentable packaging. It also comes with a booklet with solution s to create various patterns on the board. The foam pieces are quite bright & colourful so kids love it very much. Brings out their creative side as they can create a lot more patterns then the ones provided in the book.Only issue is that the pieces are made of foam as opposed to plastic. Would have really wished the pieces to be more durable to last longer as the foam pieces get squished and out of shape and no longer usable.Overall, I would say that this is a brilliant activity for kids. Keeps them engaged and occupied for along period of time.Hope you find this review helpful.

Not sure what coding is about, too old in the tooth, but pixel art I get!
Pixel art yes, coding not really my bag, I am a bit no techie, but it is simply a set of simple instructions using a set of simple codes, marked either by a number or a letter on the x and y axis, so you are the machine placing the blocks into the correct coded message ie B4 or A1 etc and the colours are given to you. The examples get progressively harded. If that's coding at it's most basic, I sort of get it! Produces pictures with the foam squares.I agree it is a STEM item, but I really don't like the foam bits, in a classroom they will simply not be sturdy enough, dropped on the floor, trodden on, squished in children's hands because they are spongy, they won't resist squashing them. If the manufacturer listens they should make the blocks out of plastic or wood, charge slightly more, but then the item will last! Ex teacher who knows how kids work!

Great for free play and early maths development
I had a set like this as a kid but with wooden blocks. Having stood on them a couple of times I can see why they have opted for soft blocks! This set is great for just doing random patterns but as a maths teacher I can see the educational value here for getting ready to use a coordinate system and following basic instructions - all in a fun and creative way. I had hours of enjoyment with mine and I know this will be loved too.

Fun but annoying
Such a fun way for the kids to pick to geometry and the ability to copy a picture like for like. The cubes are however really annoying to tidy up. they get everywhere
