DK New York City (Travel Guide)

This guide has got some really good information that I will use for another trip to NYC. There is a laminated map included which is very clear. The content of the guide is structured well.

Best NY guide book I found & the laminted Street Map a real bonus when out & about.Great tips, ideas & suggestions. Walks brilliant as you are guided round & get to see some hidden treasures you might not on a tour. Can also go at your own pace & really appreciate the history, architecture & vibe of the different districts.Brilliant. Fully recommend.

What a disappointment. DK guides used to be my travel bibles. The format of these newer editions give short shrift to pretty much everything. Not enough detail at all. Will have to search for something better.

Bought this for my son who is living in New York. The guide is great for seeing and exploring all things New York and surrounding Burroughs have to offer.You could not find all these places on your own and would definitely miss out!!

Since Brooklyn is more populous and has it's own history and sites to see, there should be more on the neighborhoods, parks, restaurants, hotels and museums of Brooklyn.
