Orvibo magic cube _2018 Version Smart Home Automation System Controller with Wi-Fi, IR and USB Adapter (Black)

The seller:The product comes with a free USB adapter which is great help. The quality of the adapter is decent. I did however find that the only thing sealed was the outer box. The content listed on the box ie the USB cable and instruction manual were missing, the inner casing holding the cube was also broken with signs of use... Anyways since USB is a standard micro USB and instructions can be found online, one can get over the initial setback.... The item was delivered in just a couple of days, which is great.The Product:Magic cube has a smaller footprint than I imagined, which is great... The home mate app is nice, clean intuitive interface... I have used orvibo allone before which was a pain to set up, but this was a breeze... I was able to find the remote for my AC (general), my TV (Samsung) immediately. I had to teach it the remote for set top box (tata sky) but otherwise set up was a breeze...The app looks great although the OSD in me finds spelling mistakes like ATUO (Auto) taking a little bit away from the sheen of the entire set up... But it was way easier than Allone.... The range also looks fine... And has worked perfectly this far...Excellent product paired with a great software...3 months in it has stopped working. The cube is stick with blue light on. Tried reset but is non responsive... Worked well , while it worked but now its just paper weight... Expensive because it held so much promise...edit:The customer care repaired/replaced unit... all is well now....

It's an amazing product. It performs as described. I'm finding issue in linking with Google assistant for control by voice command. Any help?

The product in itself is fine and does handling all the IR controlling of all devices in same room pretty fine. and the range is good too. however it doesn't work with Alexa. after many tries and disabling Alexa "Homemate" skill, you do see this device however it doesn't do anything further.for example, I added my AC remote (Voltas) and TV remote (Samsung 6 series, 65 inch curved). for Voltas, I had to manually teach Orvibo all the buttons, but for Samsung, it picked all the buttons automatically.now, when I ask Alexa to turn on Orvibo (or whatever name you assign it in the discovered device) it only turns on the TV and then asking again turns it off. it does take secondary commands at all forget about tertiary commands. Orvibo has to work alot on enhancing the Alexa skill. and if only smart functionality is concern, there is no need to but a 3000Rs product as any Samsung smart phone (before S9) model has IR blasters and it does a pretty decent job.the worst part is about Indian Market, is companies do not launch their product here and we are left with nothing in hand. (it's not about the duty being paid) because I am talking about Software products and not physical hardware. there are good Alexa enabled IR remotes in the market but only in American market and Europe. Companies do not even deem necessary to launch their product. somewhat is because of the audience.functionality: 4 starAlexa compatibility: 0 Starrange: 4 starPrice: 3 StarLooks: 5 star(it looks pretty neat)

Excellent quality and service. only con i noticed was , if using a custom remote, it will not list in alexa app . Everything else works perfect.

Very good product for home automation. Works well with amazon alexa.
