This is a must for anyone collecting 1/50 scale models. Unfortunately it’s mostly plastic but I knew that. The boom is somewhat fragile and needs to be extended or retracted with care! Definitely not for younger kids. The cab is metal and tilts. The outriggers function well and doesn’t topple over as I’ve seen in real life! Why do they call it a concrete transporter when it’s a pumper??!! I’m pleased that the tires are rubber.All and all I’m happy with this purchase but I’m going to have to wait for a couple more years to give it to my grandson cause he’s only 6. Plus I got 9 bucks off because it was a return and in original condition!

My kid loves this thing!! Seems like really good quality since it hasn’t broken yet and he plays with it everyday!!

More of a model than a toy. The forks broke off and got lost after a little while. Better to display than to be played with by my two young boys.

I feel like a disclaimer should be put on this product that you must make sure your kid is ready developmentally to use this toy prior to gifting. The pumper piper is made of plastic and with rough use will break. My four-year-old has not broken it, but he has been careful with it, his two year-old sister came close to breaking it because she is not patient, and was being rough with it. So keep this out of reach of little siblings hands. If your kid is like mine and obsessed with the construction site book series, they will love this truck. My son has been wanting a pumper truck to go with his concrete truck forever so that he can have his concrete lifted in the air. He is thrilled with his truck, and he’s been playing with it with his other construction vehicles. As long as your child goes easy with it, there shouldn’t be any issues. just want to make sure that it keeps out of the hands of those kids that play a bit rough.

I got the truck and the boom is broken

I really like this toy truck. It's just the right size for my 3 year old grandson, and he loves the realism and ruggedness. It keeps him busy for hours, and it's not too big for his little hands. It's very well made of high-quality materials, and I would definitely order it again. The toy is very nice and detailed, better than a lot of the cheaply manufactured stuff you might find. And while the overall construction is solid, the little pin that attaches the tanker to the truck broke on mine. First it got stuck to the truck and then it snapped when I was trying to unseat it. Maybe better for an older child that might not play with it as 'rough.'
