After several encounters with Monster HDMI cables in the past, I can kinda give a take on this.I've owned several Monster Cables HDMI cables. You get a mixed bag, honestly. Anything from a perfect cable without issue, to one that darkens the image a fair bit, or to some that add bloom to colors and some graphical errors from consoles included jagged edges, and weird artifact visual effects.[A day worth of use]I'm comparing this to my Rocketfish HDMI cable that I was using beforehand.The day of use, I went from my Rocketfish cable that provided a pretty clear reference image with not much issue, to the Monster LED HDMI.Immediately, I dealt with an issue of the cable darkening my image a fair bit, but adding some slight clarity. I can't identify why this happens, but as shown in my pictures, my other Monster Cables HDMI cable does this same thing, though that gold encased cable often times tends to exaggerate cables in my experience.[After two days]I've sat down and finally tested the cable against four other cables side by side.The Monster LED HDMI cable comes out darker than most cables I've put it against, and using this with my Xbox Series S provides a decently clean image, but almost seems to add its own image over it.With two of the other three cables, I don't experience this. I get a sharp and clean image, though there are more jagged lines than I normally get from my Monster Cables HDMI cables.This leads me to this conclusion.If you're buying these cables for an aesthetic purpose and wanting something to identify which cable goes to which system that is plugged in, these are perfect for that.Though if you're wanting an HDMI cable for the LED + image quality, I'd ask that you truly consider what you're wanting.These cables have a "cute/cool" gimmick to them that's bound to attract people who want to add color to a setup, but it's barely enough.There's better out there.If you're strapped to a really tight budget like myself, and live paycheck to paycheck, you can't beat four cables that have a niche, and will likely last you years and years given that they're taken care of.That said, you should really look through and consider what's out there before committing to a cable just because of its fancy knickknacks.

Monster never disappoints

Highly dependable product. Usually the first choice in brand when I go to purchase audio video cables.

The quality I expect of this brand. Love being able to troubleshoot issues by matching the LED colors between source and input.

Considering that these cables have the Monster brand on them, I was surprised that they really aren't more expensive than other run of the mill cables. I love having 4 different colors that light up to make it easier to see which cable is connected to where, without having to have the entire cable some obnoxious color. Highly recommended.

Great value and makes my home entertainment equipment really stand out and you know you are getting 4K quality in a monster product. I typically stay away from cheap cables and usually purchase monster or audio quest cables when I'm able to get them at a good price and these cables are doing what they were designed to do. They make you feel good about a purchase without feeling you overspent on something your spouse might ask you why are they necessary. They might see them and say "Nice looking cables." Enough said.

I like that they light up so you know which cable goes to what device. Be aware that some devices will light up when powered off and some do not. It just depends on the device. Have not tried it on 4K so I cannot speak to how they perform, but it works on my older 3d setup on a PS4.
