Great if you only want a small salt pig, which was perfect for us as it saves space. However we filled it with salt 3 months ago and it's still going so the capacity is more than adequate.

Good speedy delivery and no problems with the packaging. The measurements are fairly accurate so I'm not sure why I was surprised at how small it looked when it arrived. However, at the end of the day, it depends on how much salt you use. It was ordered for a friend (who is a chef) who was very pleased with it and said it was ample size to sit in a household kitchen. You can get your fingers into the opening if you like to take a pinch but as the wooden spoon is fairly small you may prefer to use that. How many scoops you need depends on how much salt you use in cooking. It's simply a salt pig and looks the same as the photo. It depends on how much you want to spend and this does the job for a reasonable price.

This was a present. Although really nice very much smaller than I thought. If you thought it was like cooks I use I would lThink theirs was about £200 based on the size of this one. Could not put your hand in but a small wooden spoon provided

While small it does come with a spoon for use. Adds a feel of being in a serious kitchen, ordering their garlic pot now
