One of the best stories I've read!
This is my very first book by Dianna Roman, and she's moved to the top of my favorite authors list. The story is about Riley who had an accident and is blind except for being able to see small amounts of bright light. Before his accident, he is an active person, a successful app designer and a perpetually happy go lucky kind of guy. After being stuck for the first few months in an unhealthy relationship, he manages to get rid of his girlfriend but at the expense of having to hire a third caregiver to help him out after already firing two of them. That's when Harper comes into his life. Harper is a visual rehabilitation therapist who has been horribly abused in every possible sense by his boyfriend. Finally after three years he manages to leave but with no place to live, no job and no money, starting over looks impossible until he hears of a live in caregiver position available. This story explores so many topics at once including but not limited to physical and sexual abuse, vision loss, bi- awakening, falling in love, even saving an ugly dog from being put down. It's done in what I felt was a sensitive manner but not at all depressing. It was so funny to read. The overall theme was so heartwarming...two men falling deeply in love. One who doesn't think he deserves that kind of happiness or that he can offer anything worthwhile to the other one. And one whose ready to spend his entire life showing the other one how much he is worth, that all he needs is him and to see him be happy. The main characters work hard for their hea, and I cried when they got it, tears of happiness.

Beautiful Story!
“Until I Saw You” was a beautiful story! Given the heavy subject matters, I was not expecting to have so much fun reading this story.I absolutely adored this story and these characters!Harper, poor poor Harper, was in a domestic violence situation that let him literally beaten, bruised, and homeless. Thank goodness he had a couple of fiercely loyal friends. He works as a visual restoration therapist and an opportunity comes up at the right time.Riley recently lost his vision from a rock climbing accident. He’s young, vivacious, attractive, and had a career that he loved. I can’t imagine how suddenly and unexpectedly losing your sight can impact someone’s world.Sounds pretty heavy right?Dianna Roman is a new to me author and she did heck of a job telling us a story dealing with heavy subject matters in a low angst way.Harper and Riley were everything!I loved Harper. The trauma that he dealt with was so sad to read about. I loved how he grew as a character. His timid and subdued demeanor morphed into a quiet strength that I loved to see. The patience and kindness that he showed Riley not only as a caregiver but as a friend and more was beautiful to see. While I loved, Riley stole me heart. He’s one of the most positive and resilient characters I’ve ever read. His life completely was shaken up from his loss of vision but he never lost his joy and outlook on life. They way he embraced these new changes and still remained so joyous was amazing! 🥹These two complimented each other well. They balanced each other out. I enjoyed the development of their relationship. It wasn’t rushed. It made sense. The chemistry was believable. I loved the respect they had for each other’s boundaries. It was kismet. This story gave me all the tingles and feels. 🥰The character development was phenomenal. We were able to really get to know these characters together and separate. We got to really know them at their core. The storyline was hilarious, courageous, and beautifully written. I couldn’t put this book down! This story really impressed me. It’s definitely a top read for me this year. These characters definitely are unforgettable. This is a story that I revisit time and time again. Amazing job to this author. 👏🏾 You guys this story is a must read!

A Story About Dog Naming Issues 🙂
This is an emotional read about App Developer Riley and VRT Therapist Harper. It has funny banter, well-developed characters along with some heart-breaking segments. There may also be some tear-leaking moments, too. My only critique is the abrupt transition to the next scene within the chapter. This is my first read by this author and I plan to read more of her books. Good storytelling, good read.

I can't explain how much I loved this book!
Ok wow! You don't know what happened to me with this book!I'm so full of emotions! These characters still speaks to me. They are in my heart and bones in such a real way that I know I won't forget them anytime soon. 💛🧡 Riley's character is so special that I don't know if I've read such a character recently or ever. No matter what happened to him he still this optimistic, positive, smiling, silly, friendly, open, and just a fun guy.His curiosity about everything was captivating. His desire to know, learn and understand was beautiful.🤎 Harper was undoubtedly a complex character. Complex in a very interesting way. His trauma was painful and scarring, and my heart hurt for him. I felt like he got a present by being Riley's caregiver. He was a special person with a huge heart.Riley and Harper together were beautiful and felt real. The steamy scenes were fire! And the water in one of those scenes didn't help to put the fire out 😉🔥❤️🩹 I loved that this book touched very sensitive subject - abuse - and it wasn't easy and yet Dianna also managed to make me smile and laugh A LOT with Riley's character. It was like two characters that complete each other. When one gave, the other took and vice versa. They were both so lucky to have each other it was amazing!❤️ I can't explain how much I loved this book! I've read it THREE TIMES and I know I'll listen to the audiobook too. It was beyond amazing! It was perfect. It quickly became one of my favorites

a beautiful story
Harper and Riley are both broken men. Riley lost his vision after an accident and Harper is recovering from an abusive relationship. Chance brings them together when Harper starts working as Riley caretaker. Harper shows Riley a world where being blind doesn’t means the end of his dreams and teaches him how to be independent and conscious of his limitations. Riley shows Harper what feels to have a safe place with someone who will always be there for you.The slow progression of their relationship, the care Riley shows Harper over and over again, is something I loved. They don’t rush into sex, instead taking the time to feel secure and make it into something more than lust. There’s no insta-love so common in many books as we see their love as it develops with their relationship. I liked how their friends and family supported them, especially Daniel and what happened to the abusive ex-boyfriend.
